@clucasrob85 hondas dont need very much torque to be quick power/weight ratio gearing a nice B20 block B18 GSR head with B16 trans your golden just dont expect to have good gas mileage on the interstate with that B16 trans cause you will be sitting at about 3500-4000 RPMs at around 70 MPH in 5th gear unless you put in the LS 5th gear then you will be good.

@80Spriestapocalyptis ya, but how long before the next rebuild from running a very high compression ratio. bunch of civics with that kind of build around here and they are always telling me about how the engine lasts only 5000 miles, or my other friends car that has peak power at 12000 rpm's but he has to replace the crank bearings every other month. im sure this srt4 is "golden" with 400 crank horsepower and not need rebuilt and still be a great daily driver for more than 2 months at a time

I own and LOVE my modded 95 GSR, however I have to admit that the BEST 4-banger in the world is the 4G63 from Mitsubishi. That iron block 2.0L beast put down 1400hp on 80 psi and ran a 6.9 1/4 mile.

I personally hate how often Mitsu's break down, especially compared to a Honda. So I'll stick to my B18C GSR, but ya gotta give props to the 4G63, even if the rest of the car is a POS.

Talking about reliability, EVERYTHING breaks down when you start toying with stuff and upping the power.

I hope you have a better argument than, its still a neon. Ive never met an SRT owner that actually cared one way or the other. Solid cars. Extremely tough motors even when they are bone stock. And they do well with mods. I like 'em!

Everything I've searched shows Brent Rau's 6.87 1/4 in his 2.0 4G63 Eclipse is the fastest 4-Cyl/NON-tube chassis time. I could be wrong, but I'd love to see some sources quoted....
