I love being latino.... just don't forget that Spanish is your FIRST language, not English even if you were born in this country. Not knowing your true primary language is a slap in the face to your heritage. Keep it real baby, learn your true language if you don't cause it's who you really are.
I believe you should embrace BOTH languages equally. It opens you to a larger audience and more experiences. I include any american (all types) to learn more than one language and at least a little spanish to understand us a little better. You'll be amazed of what you'll learn.
@fortchipman1234 indigenous language does not apply to all latinos. There are many others who are African, Asian or from various parts of Europe other than Spain. So what about them?
@FreeVideosForYou Clearly your comment does not apply to all, considering some people born in this country did not come here by choice. And those who did, were greatly encouraged, despite resistance, to become Americanized and adopt English as their first language..despite their heritage (great series fyi).
@FreeVideosForYou I would think that as a latino, one would know even though Spanish is the primary language of latin america, it cant necessarily be the TRUE primary language, unless we dont include the the indigenous, african, asian and european languages which make up and influences the Spanish language of latin america. So given the diversity of this great region which is the true primary language? Cus if we answer that question latino heritage has been slapped 1000 times already
Listening to Lin, Cesar and Maria just reiterates why we are they way we are and are proud to be Latinos. No other culture or ethnic group compares. ARRIBA LOS LATINOS!!!!!!!!!!

@FreeVideosForYou Well if your Latino american spanish isn't your peoples first language your not from spain
Your original language is the language of the ppl who were in the americas first " Native Americans "
It would be nice if you knew your native language and your spanish together.
A combination of both cultures. (Mestizo)
