Odd to see this actor -- I knew him, and knew him well, when I was a child. I also knew his mother Ruth. He always played bad guys on TV, but he was one of the nicest and most gracious guys. He was a childhood friend of my dads, in fact my dad lived with him in highschool one year. His name was John Anderson, he died in mid 90's from heart attack.
