Not quite the truth, Mohammad (PBUH) never actually named the point he ascended into heaven, saying only the furthest point. This location was named as the site 300 years later and named accordingly. According to the Christian belief, the Jews are cursed. Perhaps. But that's Christian dogma. You can't use Christian doctrine to prove your claim regarding Christian rights to Jerusalem. It's self serving. Whatever the New Testament says, that doesn't give you claim to Jerusalem. For all I know, the it might as well say outright that G-d took Jerusalem from the Jews and gave it to the Christians. The reason I never investigated what the New Testament says, is because it means nothing to me.

Once again, you've made some true statements, mixed with some false statements. It's in the year 70 of the Common Era, Jerusalem was destroyed and many Jews were killed. In the year 133, the Jews successfully revolted against the Romans. But the Romans came back, and after three failed attempts, they finally re-took Jerusalem in the year 135, and exiled the Jews. We returned to Israel In 1948, and to Jerusalem in 67. And yes, the Torah predicts this (I haven't read New Testament)...

What is not true is that G-d cursed the Jews for rejecting Jesus, or gave Jerusalem to the Christians. That's Christian Dogma. In fact, we still reject Jesus, and yet we're back, contrary to Church doctrine. The churches were built only several hundred years later, when the Rome became Christian. And the (Muslim) Ottomans controlled Jerusalem longer than anyone in the past two millennia.

Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Jerusalem is mentioned 700 times in Tanach, the Jewish Holy Scriptures, but not mentioned once in the Koran. There are vague references to Jerusalem in the Hadiths - stories about Mohammed -- that he stopped his night journey (which apparently took place in a dream) at the "farther mosque". Muslims explain that this means "at the edge of the Temple Mount", although no direct reference to Jerusalem or the Temple Mount is made.
