It's Not Over - Robin/Raven

I haven't watched Teen Titans much, but I've always prefered Raven than Starfire, with Robin at least. They're more mature....it's funny how they remind me of Harry and Hermione in HP, their relationship of trust and loyalty :)

I think that maybe one of the reasons of why Robin and Raven aren't together because the creators probably thought that Starfire was a more "suitable" mate for Robin. Or in other case I guess she was/is prettier than raven.. I absolutely love the whole Robin and Raven relationship. They are more cute together. Raven is and will ALWAYS be my favorite character.

I've always shipped Rob/Rae since I started even watching the show.

They understand eachother, know everything about eachother and care for eachother.

I think the creators made the events in Trouble In Tokyo happen because they probably thought they went over-board with the Rob/Rae in Birthmark, The Prophecy and The End 1, 2 + 3.

But we all know Rob/Rae is meant to be ;)

My thing is..StarfirexRobin has always come across as the realistic, understandable cliche pairing in the show. Its hinted at too obviously since ep 1, makes since because yeah, a young teenage boy could easily be infatuated and attracted to the 'pretty' 'sweet' and kind girl. He has to mature at some point tho. The events surrounding Raven's destiny, and the episode Haunted where she helped Robin spoke volumes to me about their growing relationship, where StarxRob hints paled in comparison.

the funny thing is, sometimes the friendships in the show are alot more interesting and developed compared to the romantic relationships. Not just in Teen Titans but in various other shows I've watched. Whether people ship Robin and Raven together or not, I thought Raven's bond with him was special. They trust each other and have that mental connection. The arc in season 4 was the very mature compared to the other ones.

@gothickittyful Yeah, they should have added a kiss between Robin and Raven because it did actually happen in the original comics, even if Robin/Nightwing's emotions were manipulated by Raven (right now she and Changeling, aka Beast Boy, are in love even if they're not together anymore). And a kiss is always a kiss!
