yep because if you think about a set--even singles...how often will you hit 300 fhs, 300 bhs, and 300 volleys... not often so it helps your reps... it's all about reps
i did this workout for 2 years straight--it's the driving force between me being 5.0 and 4.5's... plus the more you do it, the faster it gets. so i used to do 200 fhs instead of a 100, then it became 600 fhs, 600 bhs, 600 volleys...but it did bother my elbow--the volleys... doing that many volleys is alot of stress on your arm
