  • if this was stock teg vs stock prelude theres no way the prelude driver knows how to drive..

  • Theres a Honda integra from Japan as well as the Honda rsx. Acura isn't very big in japan.

  • damn thats my old prelude .. i like the way poeple assume things that dont even know nothing about ..that motor had bent valves and evrything ..that dude said he had a stock b16 with a catback come on if you really know the power of a prelude h22 has compare to a b16 in anything it well that alot not even a gsr could hang with me when my motor was good but oh well thats then you win some you lose and i lost that day ....

  • He was holding the steering wheel all cool until he noticed it wasnt as easy and sat up lmao nice run

  • @228whpEG6 .................yo wtf is up poeple talking shit all day about my 98 prelude little do they know i had bent valves and yes it was a 5 speed tranny ..but what can i espect from a fully built b16 yea im going to lose but oh well you win some you lose some so stock DAs can kiss my ass i ate them shit them out all day and ruuning high 13.00 all motor and a heavy ass car come on bring it

  • i took a same exact looking prelude last week with my 1990 DA9. B18a1 with Injen cold air intake DC headers and highflow cat. DA's all day.!!

  • @ienjoiskating209 yes the tranny is the reason y i thru a rod....not cuz i was down shifting or anything its jus when u stump on it so u get in passing gear, passing gear on a auto tranny n stock ecu revs way 2 fuckin high thats y i blow a rod....so again i know wat im talkin about n u dont have 2 try and correct me...i no wats goin on

  • @sesalam...i wouldnt do that... i hadda 04civic n drove it like it was stick n i throw a rod out my block lmao...try standerd next time auto is wayyy 2 boring

  • @htowngoonies the rod out of your block has nothing to do with the tranny issue,it's the same engine whether it's an auto or a manual, you can down shift like that with either tranny depending on your revs you can down shift with no damage to the tranny or engine but it's easier on a manual tranny.if you get a better manual tranny you can go from 4th gear straight to 2nd gear in one shift and nothing will happen bad to it

  • It not honda idiot it acura integra

  • @k3vinyAng: exactly the same.....

  • only if that was a fat chick driving....

  • its an acura integra lol

  • that prelude weak ass

  • DANG!!! that prelude is hella weak.....hahahahaha

  • NOOOO! MONICA!!!!! lol

  • 5th gens might be only 100lbs more but 100lbs is a tenth of a second. and thats all it takes.

  • haha automatic lude? wtf? lol the race would have been soooo much better if it were 5 speed and a good driver, lude would win all day

    preludes are the shit

  • Honda Intergra hey....

  • oh hell no a prelude would whip a integra any day unless the integra was more heavily modded =(

  • @RastaManVIBRATIONJah GSR teg vs 5th gen lude? id bet on the teg.

  • @2BarEG touche.. i own a prelude so i would naturally root for it but i love integras too

  • lol MRDC2day, just lol. I don't know how u do it but reading out the ass is not to be taken literally...

  • Gotta love a DA

  • the gearing is very similar with the higher revs of the gs-r...look at both of our videos, we go about the same speeds in each gear lol most ludes are abused too this fight is pointless. You prefer gs-r's cause you have good experience with them, I've experienced both, and I stuck with the car that I liked worlds better, the prelude.

  • auto lude r shit.

i got 1 and after 400 miles the box died.

got a manual tho and it is rapid

  • what u took a prelude what year was that

  • can anyone tell me how much damage i do to my 92 Prelude Si engine and transmission (auto) when I'm going 80kmph on 4th (auto) and drop it to 3rd in order to get better acceleration, but i push it back to 4th at 100kmph (4000RPM)? Its a $800 lude so nothing flash at all).

  • @sesalam i not sure if you've done any damage..that auto trans should do that. buy a manual next time, or do a auto-to-manual swap.

  • @sesalam none. lol tear it up hondas are forever.

  • @sesalam i do it all the time in my 96 accord. except shift back to 4 at like 6k lol.

  • @sesalam actually your transmission is ment to do that in the lower gears for towing purposes, generally just dont abuse it and itll be fine like dont be in manual 3rd gear at like 60 and drop it into 2nd that will be really bad but if your in drive 4 at like 45-50 u can drop it into 3rd to engine brake, or u can start in 1st and hold it to redline at 40 mph then shift to secong and hold it to redline and accelerate over 60 mph before u throw it in third, if ur racing but with an h23 :(

  • What type of integra and Prelude?

  • @SupermanCSA lols, looser...

  • Lol at the brown guy in the auto Lude!

  • lol who races in an auto

  • my prelude was epic, it was a JDM 2.2VTEC the H22a engine, uprated injecters, turbo, ecu and a few other bits.

have to admit, i do really like the tyre r integra

  • Yea but I was all stock on steelies with shitty tires! We should of race when I had the mani intake cam I/h!

  • No it was u an Honda mike! U never beat me fool! U know I am Miguel who had the green eg coupe! If I still had it u still wouldn't of beat me I ran 13.6 in 1/4 mile with mani,i/h with a intake cats cam! But yea I rapped u when I was stock and u weren't!

  • @Deepin210 yeah i was stock b16 with stock itr cams and yeah i remember you pulled off by like 2 cars from the get go, it was me and my brother, and you and honda mike, i still had a stock TB and in mani tho.

  • @Deepin210 Honda mike like the guy who has vtec tattoed across one hand and dohc across the other

  • Haha I raped this white teg when I had my eg swapped! With a stock gsr an he had itr cams an catback!

  • hahaha too bad that integra is USDM. If you're gonna make it sound badass and from japan next time dont show the steering wheel on the left side dumbass

  • still gots love for my lude yo!! [H]

  • Comment removed

  • @Xxps3fan not in japan

  • @Xxps3fan funny cause last time i checked my teg it had an H badge and the steering wheel on the right...

  • @Xxps3fan honda makes acura dip shit

  • @Xxps3fan hahahaha dumbest comment ive ever heard. honda makes acura nissan makes infinty toyota makes lexus. just for future refewrence lmfao dumb ass

  • @Xxps3fan you stupid gay :D

  • @Xxps3fan to bad honda makes an integra

  • @Xxps3fan integras kick ass...a type r beats any prelude...ludes dont have asmuch performance in mind as a teg... type r is full out race car the lude type s is more keeping luxury and speed, sunroof,a/c, sterio,etc...

  • @Xxps3fan integras kick ass...a type r beats any prelude...ludes dont have asmuch performance in mind as a teg... type r is full out race car the lude type s is more keeping luxury and speed, sunroof,a/c, sterio,etc...andyeah dude honda integra for usdm they had to make acura since w dont let you produce many cars under one name...why gm has so many diff names.

  • prelude ~ 2800 lbs

    integra ~ 2600 lbs

    very close

  • @motorhead992 prelude ~ 2954 lbs integra 2619 lbs

  • @noddyim

i was talking about the 4th gen prelude which are lighter than that.

  • @motorhead992 yeah thats true, check out my other video i race a 4th gen with a NOT h22a swapped in there. im waiting to catch video of me racing my friend with a I/H/E/chip h22a 94 prelude.

  • @motorhead992 ludes are like 3200 im pretty sure...

  • @MRDC2day a 5th gen is around 3050, a 4th gen vtec is about 2900-2950 a 5th gen sh is 3100

  • @tommyistommy no 5ths are 3200 man im almost positive. and i mean a gsr is only 2550ish and you can shave weight easy my gsr is around 2450 iv walked a few perludes one was a vtec one was just a little h23 lol preludes are badass cars but just plain heavy.

  • @MRDC2day I never had a 5th gen, but I have a 4th gen si with a h22a in it, and I previously owned a 95 gs-r...the lude ran a half a second quicker 1/4 mile. I ran a 14.6 in my lude with only an ebay catback and the intake resonator removed. A gs-r is fun, but not on the level of a prelude. The lude handles better, stops better, goes better, and I think looks better. Teggy's way better on gas and passenger room but that's about it

  • @tommyistommy ill have to disagree with you. integras handle way better. look on road courses you never ever see preludes. for a reson. a integra type r vs a prelude type s on a road course the integra will walk its ass. preludes are a sporty car integras are a race car. if you had your lude to my gsr i would bet anything id take you with just them mods oh yeah. and a gsr stops better lol ludes are heavy. grand sport racing vs type smart handling. come on.

  • @MRDC2day integras are not "race cars" both are sport compacts. A type R vs any lude, I'm taking the type R. No argument from me. I will argue that a 4th/5th gen lude handles better, stops better, and goes straight faster than a gs-r though. I owned both at the same time, driving them back to back wasn't even a contest. The integra felt quick and responsive while the lude didn't give much feedback, however the lude was able to take turns at speeds that I would never dare attempt in the integra.

  • @MRDC2day I can cite many sources that agree with me, but I don't know if that's necessary. I agree that the integra platform is better if you want to mod your car, its lighter, parts are cheaper, and they both have double wishbones. However out of the box, a prelude is a vastly superior car in every measurable field. Anyone who says otherwise hasn't driven a properly maintained prelude.

  • @tommyistommy nah man again i dont think your gsr was properly maintained. preludes are quick but still man i have to disagree with you,and was your gsr stock suspention wise? and tire size was prob. alot smaller than the lude aswell. i doubt your lude had ABS that will help on the stops aswell. but a prelude is NOT a superior car by any means. preludes are just too heavy.

  • @MRDC2day The prelude has abs. Preludes have every option known to man lol there is a reason that they are "heavy" compared to other hondas. I'm comparing a bone stock gs-r suspension and wheel wise to a bone stock 95 prelude vtec suspension and wheel setup. Honestly, I've heard the handling issue go either way, but the fact of the matter is I felt more confident in the prelude. The body rolled a lot less. A prelude is lower from the factory that may play a factor. Another factor I believe that

  • @MRDC2day i believe may be throwing my perception off is exit speeds of corners. The integra had no torque and was hard to drive on the pocono mountains with any speed. I could enter a turn at 60 in both cars and exit at 75 in my lude while the gs-r would barley pick up any speed as it fell below 5.5k rpms. Speed wise, look at my newest video. Off the line they are pretty close but once the lude hits 3rd gear, its not much of a race anymore. idk I love both cars man its a preference thing

  • @MRDC2day but I hate when integra guys play the weight card....weight is important, but out of the box it doesn't mean shit when comparing a lude and integra. Theres a reason the prelude cost a lot more when new...it was a more composed, complete car....at the expense of weight

  • @tommyistommy weight is everything. the lower you have out of the box the better. and preludes have longer gears aswell. integras have everything preludes have from factory...preludes are just bigger cars with a 2.2 liter engine it has that so it can haul around the larger car. if you H2B use a h22a with my GSR tranny my integra could easily break into the 12's with just simple bolt ons. for a lude to run 12's would take quite abit of work. just says how much weight is a factor. and gearing

  • @MRDC2day Everything you said is true, however I'm not comparing a h22a integra and a h22a prelude...I'm comparing a stock gs-r vs a stock vtec prelude. Stock vs stock, I have first hand experience, a prelude is better at everything. If you want to do any modding I agree that it makes no sense to start at a 300lbs weight disadvantage. a h22a integra is faster than a h22a prelude...why am I less than surprised hah I'm saying the ludes weight doesn't matter if compared to another factory model

  • @tommyistommy i am comparing a stock gsr aswell i just have to disagree with you man. i wish we could just set up a road test. but how many miles were on both your prelude and gsr?? was it a true DC2 or did it maybe have the longer geared LS trans.

  • @MRDC2day nah I had a bone stock gs-r with 130k miles. My prelude just crossed 250k miles LOL Its my daily and i've had it for years. Where do you live? Or perhaps we could just compare 1/4 mile and other measurable statistics.

  • @tommyistommy i live in springfield,MO, never ran at the track yet anyways. i really do need to though. just last night i took me a prelude at a little stop light race i didnt launch either. but it was the 4ws 4th gen. but i really really pulled on him. i have a vid on here of it doing 0-90 it hit 60 in about six seconds and that is without a launch. my brakes are amazing with abs. even when wet. but i wouldnt be suprised if i could run a higher 14 though maybe 14.7 maybe lower it runs amazing

  • @MRDC2day I hate to burst your bubble but the 4th gen 4ws only came with the h23. It makes 160hp and weighs over 3000lbs, its a dog. A base integra should take one. I also have a video with no real launch, off the line the gs-r and prelude are pretty close. However the h22a has a much broader power curve and pulls away easily at high speeds. I ran a 14.6 at 96.5 and that was before my car was tuned. I made 175whp at the time of that 1/4 mile pass. I'm now making 186, still on stock header.

  • @tommyistommy i know that they came with the h23....they arent too fast thats why i said i really really pulled on him.i have taken TWO lude vtecs. iv topped my gsr out aat 150MPH with over 1000rpm to go left. im just not seeing a huge car that mostly came with a auto tranny out performing my standard only race inspired car.

  • @MRDC2day lol its not a huge car and what the hell does automatic transmission have to do with this lolol I'm sure you did take two ludes. most either run like complete crap or are automatic. I can assure you as a long time owner of both the prelude is faster. A prelude isn't some huge boat of a car, as 99 percent of integra owners believe. How did honda sell any preludes if they are a huge boat that gets smoked by the integra which was a fraction of the cost? Why did they even make it !?

  • @tommyistommy because if its mated to a automatic tranny they were not built for performance...no honda performance car was made a auto...ever hrard or a auto type r/gsr or civic si or NSX its just how it is...preludes compared to my car is heavy. because they were quick more roomy, just a different car. like with the civic and CRX why did the civic make it the crx was lighter. the gsr was NOT a fraction of the cost either! the gsr was the first car other than the nsx to have vtec.

  • @MRDC2day nsx's did come in auto. A prelude cost thousands more when new. A crx and civic are different because they target different markets...the crx fits 2 people while a civic seats 5, enough said there. I don't know what your trying to say...I know the da gs-r was the second to get vtec? The prelude always was honda's flagship sport compact, not the integra or civic si or crx. Shove the weight difference the h22a, wider tires, and bigger brakes make up for it...its not that complicated

  • @tommyistommy you sure they came auto? i doubt a lude costs more. if so they suck at holding resale value because i never see a lude anywhere near a gsr unless its the 5th gen. and the integra was there top sport compact dude...type R and the da gsr getting vtec before anyother car. same in japan the 85 integra first car ever to get vtec. not the prelude. if they were soo bad how come even the typr s will get its ass kicked by a type R lol yeah they need it to haul the weight around!

  • @MRDC2day i don't think the DA9 gs-r was the first to get vtec, the 84/85 jdm crx si was

  • @MRDC2day I am 100 percent positive they came in auto. A lude cost anywhere from 6-8 grand more new. Comparing resale value is silly. The prelude invented what a sport compact was. The prelude launched in 1978. A type S vs a type R isn't a matter of weight, the type R was an expensive purpose built sports car. It had double wishbones, rode like shit, and no options. If honda made a focused type S like they made the type R, it would be a different story

  • @tommyistommy does make sense from what market they targeted being so high priced. but there is no way in hell they were 6-8k MORE than a integra dude im sorry.the type s was there high performace lude and the type r was the tegs. dude all hondas have double wishbone a ride like shit lolit had options aswell ac,ps,radio just like everyother car. they would have made a purpose built lude if they were hondas flagship sports car not the integra... and it wouldnt be a different story...

  • @MRDC2day Since you cannot process factual information, I'll make this really simple. You've never owned or fuck it, even driven a prelude. I've owned both. I've owned both at the same time. The prelude is better at everything. I don't care if you can comprehend that or not. Until you've at least driven a h22a powered prelude, you're talking out of your ass.

  • @tommyistommy and since you cannot as well. i would bet anything MY gsr will fuck your prelude with a catback dude.

    i'd put money on it.

you cant argue with specs dude.

i bet your gsr ran like shit.

there is no way a lude with 250k took a gsr with 135k all in working order i am sorry your fucking lying, plus your right i never have driven one but i've watch a few drive from my rear view mirrors.

  • @MRDC2day The gs-r had perfect compression and ran flawlessly. You cant read. Until about 60 I think the gs-r may be slightly quicker, but once the prelude hits 3rd gear the race is over. Why don't you get some time slips? Or some videos of you running a prelude? This week I'm going to record me wrecking my buddies gutted i/h/e clutch gs-r, in my stock prelude, and maybe even get you a fresh timeslip now that I'm tuned

  • @tommyistommy gsr gearing is wayyy better a lude would take a gsr top speed thats about it. i would love some slips or a vid but its hard to be filming while racing.soon i will get some slips. and i would like seeing you raceing a gsr. but keep in mind that gsr could run like shit since most are abused.

  • wat lip does the prelude have?

  • and there were 3 dudes in the tegy :D go B series !

  • how the fuck did a integra beat a prelude? seriously i wanna know

  • integra has a complete stock motor swap into a 2nd gen integra, the prelude is still using stock h22.

  • @IcedTea543 ill walk a lude dude.

  • too bad the driver of the prelude laughed when you tried to race him. Ha!

  • what kinda integra was that cause stock b18 is not about to beat a prelude

  • its a 91 LS, with a jdm b16a full swap, i/h/e.

  • preludes definitely arent heavy.if u think they r then u need to rethink ur standards

  • yeah thats true, but he prolly means among other honda/acura badges, but even then 'ludes are still in the middle somewhere.

  • @indyluder So true heavy compared to what, a CRX yes, compared to a Ford pickup hell no lol its all depends on what your perception of heavy is

  • @indyluder i have a 5th gen lude,roughly 2000+lbs, id say they are on the heavier side

  • lol ludes are big boys

  • @indyluder compare it to ANY other honda of that time they are super heavy.even a 4 door accord is much lighter. thats heavy...

  • lol @ the slow ass, heavy preludes

  • even the prelude is automatic it still pulling

  • fuck u robh23a1 only if u new that my cay was running on 2 1/2 pistons and that integra had a b16 with shit in it cuz i know for a fact that my lud would smoke an integra any day with a fucked up motor and no it wasnt automatic only drive 5spd so fuck any one that hats cuz like i said yall dont know the truth about my

  • i call bull shit. how do u run on 2 and half pistons it either 2 or 3 there is no way its a half there is a whole piston there not half and a whole injector. and if it was running on 2 you wouldn't be able to get up and go like u did now 3 pistons u could

  • @durty21 bet id take you in my gsr.

  • my h2b Euro-r Tegg would shit on both of these cars... and on any k20a

    h22a euro-r -220hp stock

    98'spec ITR tranny

  • My lude has some extensive upgrades. Positive manafold pressure makes a lude pretty peppy. I have yet to come even close to losing to any other 4cyl car. A heavy modded SRT-4 came close once, props to Dodge Neon. LOL.

  • yeah and my 93 lude rails V8's... a ZR1 cam close once... props to Chevy Corvette, and to youtube where i like everyone else can say whatever the fuck they want you fuckin dumb fuck

  • NICE RACE

i like THOSE PRELUDES BUT I HAVE THE SAME KINDA OF INTEGRA THERE NICE CARS YOU DO ENOUGHT TO EM AND THEY DO SHIT ON PREYLUDES!!

  • windows up next time

  • Dude in the lude cant drive for shit.Every body knows it's not the car it's always the driver.Fuck that he dident even double clutch weak ass driver

  • LIsten here little daddy.. Robh23a1.. you obviously don't know nothing.. cuz dat lude is an automatic and thats my boy.. it's still smashes.. anywhoo.. if you wanna talk like you know how to double clutch come holla at me... k20.. im willin to drop pinkss.. itz nothing namean... it's bad for you..

  • @westside287 hahaha were you rapping just then?

  • shift? fucker was usin automatic! haha he sucks ludes are tight

  • I have a 98 lude and a 96 teg my teg beats my lude badly because its 600whp lol.

    Love both cars thou :]

  • Damn, the DA is fast.

  • hahah prelude starts to get serious at the end when he get up and lost lol

  • Damn. And the teg had 3 people in it.

  • san antonio i know iv seen that lude its faster than that

  • that is true, a long time ago when we race he was driving a 'hurt' engine. now he's in good racing condition(and faster) and as soon as i see him its on again.

  • ummm no...did you see how the guy in the prelude sits up when he starts go loose.....there was no car in front, just people who love prelude's and cant stand for them to loose to integra's

  • umm....notice how the lude gets over after the guy passes him, obviously there was a car in front of him not lettin him beat ur azz

  • yeah...right...

  • that's not a type r. it's a DA integra. first type r was a DC2. and i've seen many DA's beat preludes like the GSR.

  • you're right... who said it was a type r? they were wrong.

  • there is no way this integra is stock unless its the type R or the prelude is an automatique

  • the integra is obviously not stock, its the engine that is stock.

  • Comment removed

  • yeah right!!!!!!!!!!

  • His is stock engine wise prolly with an intake and he driving an AUTO you cant take him serious

  • BB4 FTW!!

  • yeah right h 22 is shit!!!!!!!!

  • but the prelude is stock the inegra has a diff engine like a b20

  • the integra has a diff engine like a b16

  • b16? really? and it's pullin on a prelude. even in a DA you shouldn't be pullin on a prelude if all you have is a stock b16. props on the DA tho.

  • the engine is completely stock BUT it has STOCK '01 integra type r camshafts, because 1st gen b16 cams stop making power 1k into vtec

  • @buggingout67 a b2o has only 140hp sama as the b18a/b...no difference a little more tq...

  • LOL Auto prelude...

  • nice movie;.. and imagine, it's not even an Integra Type R... You can imagine what damage a Type R could do to the Prelude :p

  • prelude will carve up no worries

  • not really. google it

  • you know what just forget it, for all you people in your retarded little honda bubble that think any car weighing in at anything ABOVE 2600 lbs is heavy, i hope someday you expand your horizons to other makes and models and realize that 2800 lbs is still light for a car. as noddyim said, any honda/acura is the lightest in its class. most cars weigh in at around 3K unless they are "compacts" which means SMALL as in NOT HEAVY. i'm done.

  • tq is 157 on lude douche. and thats only 20 more in tq and hp. And Like i said stock to stock they are pretty equal cause the lude weighs an extra 400 pounds more than teg. But teg will win usualy because of better tranny And i have a 2000 gsr which comes stock with 6 more hp.

  • preludes are nice and all but way too heavy i chew them up all day long with my gsr.

  • @joinmeindeathx7 amen brother.

  • prelude beats integra every time, if both stock.

  • thank you! i mean come on, 170hp+127tq vs 190hp+ 160tq (almost exactly 200lbs. more) hands down lude will win. anywho tops the integra will have 190 hp if its a 98-00 in which case it would probably hang much better but i still think the lude would pull on him due to more torque

  • my oldsmobile has like 250tq. lol and people call it a grocery getter, but i have never lost to an import. even after all the mods they do to them. like the other day i raced a turbo civic and beat it. lol they prolly spent around $1000 for the turbo kit and still are prolly about 50-60 horses below my car and my OLDSMOBILE still wins hahaha and let me tell you i havent even spent over 400 dollars.

  • what do you have?

  • @crzzymnn911 id be willing to bet id smoke your 350 buddy.

  • to ApAKKAlypse ----> thank you!! i dont know why everyone has this HUGE misconception that preludes are these massively huge vehicles, they aren't! and i'm impresssed the integra beat him cause h22 ludes almost always win, they are balsy

  • that's true... and h22 are super ballsy, i just love 'em with a H2B adapter kit and a b16 tranny. i think preludes are heavier then other honda/acura models but overall any honda/acura is the lightest in its class.

  • umm why dont u do ur research on the lude instead of making lame ass comments u must be around 18 huh? ludes and teg gsr are pretty much an equal match. Lude have more torque and hp but they are to heavy!!!

  • i gurantee i know more about it then you do, i have ls/vtec with gsr trans in my civic and my buddy has a 93 lude with an h22 in it. YOU are the one that should do his research, the typical preludes are heavy response is completely ignorant. "In 1992, the fourth generation Prelude was released, after being released in Japan in 1991. The car had a 58% front and 42% rear weight distribution." "Curb weight 2,840 lb (1,288 kg)" - just FYI, that is NOT heavy.almost perfect 50-50 weight distribution

  • and one more thing, i'm one year younger than you and i'm married with a family and have already gone through MULTIPLE hondas of various modification levels, dont worry some day you'll get a more accurate view of the car world and how not every car has to be a 2 door sub compact weighing in at no more than 2600lbs otherwise its "heavy"

  • wow u learned how to google. and lay off the back peddle. The only thing i was debating is that a lude can take a gsr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! which is not true douche. gsr will kill a lude!

  • hypocrit. wheres your research? there are lots of generations of tegras and preludes and they're never been equal. not till '97 were all ludes got vtec. every generation of preludes has been heavier then integras, you should by a v8 so you can drive around with more tq and hp and have a higher power:weight ratio.

  • um what year is in this video tard?

  • Comment removed

  • he shoulda closed his window... less air resistance lol

  • hhaah i was thinking the same thing

  • nice preiude

  • i thought integras are from acura?

  • I believe, but correct me if im wrong.. Acura's and honda's are basically the same

  • Honda changed some of their expensive models to the name "Acura" in the U.S.A. In Japan, Acura does not exist. It is a marketing scheme because the first Honda's that came out in western countries were pretty shitty. They wanted a new name so that Westerners don't associate the cars for being cheap when they hear the word "honda". but of course, I think everyone's perspective changed about both brands.
