At least it only makes a beeping noise when you extend the arm while truck's in motion, imagine how annoying that'd be if Labrie went so far as to PREVENT the arm from extending while you drove...

The arm is slower when you try to do two actions with it like go in and up at the same time but I think this arm is faster coming back to the body. It's a crapshoot really and they'll pretty much all flip lids with the exception of the one in my July 4th videos, that one is the slowest coming down over the top.

Them drive ways seem to have been plowed then salted. Am i correct or residents spend their day shoveling? That beep sound before you collect the bin is thats a sensor letting you know your inline of the bin and lifter or is it to let you know the lifter is in use?

@Superiorpakfan Well at this point, believe it or not, it hadn't snowed in about a month!! We just had a crazy amount of snow in January, it didn't all melt until April! People either shovel them or pay someone to plow it.

The beep sound is letting me know the arm or claws aren't in the full park position and are away from the body.

@loslocosprodutions Too many and not enough. I used to drop a ton of cans in the hopper when I had a lot of square Toters on my route but they're all long phased out by now thanks to me. People cutting me off annoys me and I don't care if people pass me, I just floor it after every stop, if someone is being illegal and not waiting until it's their turn to go around me via right of way and want to get into an accident with oncoming traffic, that's not my fault!

@mcbombtings It doesn't beep every time I come to a stop, it's the "arm extended" alarm. I put it out before I stop because I'm so pro. lol My legs never get cramped, I'm short so I actually prefer the old WX cabs to these new ones.

Nice footage. The drivers here complain about the autocar mirrors moving out of adjustment a lot. Seems to be the same problem you had when you were re adjusting them huh?

I second the walkaround of 3303. Kinda cool seeing how you operate the arm in action. Although you sent me a video awhile back about how the arm and joystick works, maybe you should also do a video of that. Kinda cool how after you grab the can, tilting the joystick to the left brings it back to the body and raises it at the same time. Why do you then pull the joystick down, can't you just keep tilting to the left to empty it?

By the way, that beeping is annoying when you go to grab a can!
