  • Thanks so much for the video. I haven't tried the isopure protein drinks. After seeing your suggestions I will give it a try fir something new. I also loved your water work out. We have a neighborhood pool and I tried to find some water exercises but wasn't very successful. Too bad our pool is closing right after labor day. Will have to make note of your video for next summer!

  • @mistyandchris1 Oh, you've got to try them! They are a little pricey at GNC, but they go on sale every once in awhile. I am a retired military dependent and they are available at the commissary. If you are eligible to shop there, they are half the cost! I stretch them with water and my added flavors. They're just a wonderful change up for getting protein in outside of the powdered protein drink options. I'm sad that our pool is closed now, too. Time to find an indoor one! Blessings to you both!

  • Oh, thank you so much for the ideas with the Isopure! You know how they tell you to never grocery shop when you are hungry? Well, I am feeling that now... never watch videos about ice cold drinks while thirsty! LOL! At least you reminded me to keep hydrated! I have been very busy (and that is why I am so far behind on my videos!) and I don't think I am drinking enough! I can't believe it has already been 4 weeks! Time is going by much faster then I thought it would! Congratulations! :)

  • @CandiisSweetEnough I'm giggling! You are so funny! You gotta try the Isopure, Candi. After surgery you will find any "water" based protein (vs. milk) a welcome addition to help get your protein in. Yup, stay hydrated!

  • @NotSoPlump Good for you for sticking to the Jazzercise. Wish I was there jumping and dancing with YOU! Making new friends in the class being the token male? LOL! I bet you are having a blast and you are probably blessing the socks off your teacher, your neighbor and the others! I'm enjoying the pool and my exercises and will be sad when the season is over here. My gym membership includes a pool pass but to an indoor pool. It's just not the same soaking up the sun while working out. Hugs Eric!

  • Great video! I took notes :)) I've seen from others that our taste for things will change after the surgery. Have you experienced that? I keep finding myself wanting to buy some protein products to try out so I can be somewhat prepared for post-op life. Thanks again. I love your videos!

  • @themkechocdiva Stephanie, they're lots of fun, easy to do but offer a great benefit. I LOVE working out in the pool as I can do so much more in the water than I can do on land. Let me know how your water workout goes!

  • @PitaGirl83 Shana, I sometimes use the Isopure at the end of the day to fill in any protein gap I have too. It's a great change from the milk-based proteins and does taste so yummy. Tomorrow I'll be trying the Apple Melon. We'll see how that tastes! I feel good and it's an amazing feeling to have my jeans falling off of me... time to go shopping for a new pair!

  • @gastricRose Rosemary, any other pool options in your area? The Y or a city pool? A great way to beat that hot Texas heat you are experiencing, oh my! Yeah, I can do so much more in the water than on land and it goes easy on my bones and my arthritis. Hugs to you and Blue Eyes.

  • Great idea on the Isopure. I just recently discovered it. I've been drinking it straight. LOL You are doing great with the water exercises.

  • @texasmom2011 Robin, oh my. Don't know how you drink the Isopure straight, but it is a great alternative for protein besides the milk-based ones. I am trying to drink some on days I need to fill in my protein gap. Grape Frost is my favorite. I'll be trying the Apple Melon today. Hey, loved hearing about all your gadgets you're adding to your "tools." I look forward to videos sharing all about them, especially the dehydrator. I'm considering getting one!   • @flittingButterfly Lera, I love time in the pool! Most of the time I'm the only one there so it's like having my own private swimming pool. I can play and experiment and get a good overall workout in 40-60 minutes while soaking up the sun! What are you doing lately for exercise? Found any FUN ways to stay moving?
