@Daltonicorock Everybody always compares them to Zeppelin or Pink Floyd. I don't hear it (besides maybe Cedric's voice being somewhat similar to Robert Plant's). I'd say that they are more like King Crimson...lyrically like the Peter Gabriel-led Genesis...and somewhat similar to early 70's Yes. But then again...is it worth saying they are anything besides The Mars Volta? They are great in their own right, just like all those other bands.

jon theodore is the man. i personally think hes a better fit for TMV. Pridgen is just all over the place sometimes. Dont get me wrong, hes a great drummer too, but its just too much. Jon Theodore fit so well with TMV. anyway, awesome performance!
