I have known and loved this song for 30 years, ever since Toto released it. It was part of my formative years as a student and a music lover. It made me happy every time it was played in any dance hall around here. And let me tell you, it *never* happened before that I immediately fell in love with a *cover* of a song that I cherish so much. What you're doing is just dead plain fabulous! Makes me want to get up, join your choir and sing out loud! That's what a great performance does. Love it!

My choir teacher showed our high school concert choir this at the beginning of the year this year and everyone loved it. We did a song at our Holiday Concert called "Sing Me To Winter". It's a real jazzy song, but what she suggested us to do was have some wintery sound effects at the beginning of the piece just like these people did thunderstorm effects for "Africa". We ended up not doing that cause she changed her mind. But anyways this is my favorite performance of " Africa".
