I concur! The SNES and NES Final Fantasys were the best. FF4 (FF2 in the US) is also my favourite. The 32+ bit games lacked a soul. They tried to replace depth of gameplay with fancy FMVs, violence and nudity. However this gamer is not fooled.

Great work. I really like the composition at the beginning of the video, especially with the lighting. Unfortunately the mic levels are a bit high, so there is some clipping.

That pic of Rikku makes her look hot. Like others have said Stan would have been a good reference too, especially as I am a PC gamer.

I give ya that one, yes rikku is sexy, but I just found her to be the most annoying and useless character in FF10, unless you get her final weapon, she only seems good at the beginning with her grenades, but after that she pretty seems to blow, but then again I didn't give her much of a chance :P

ya you're right. Rikku was kind of sucky but her overdrive was pretty bad ass especially if u had her final weapon. In my opinion Kimahri was the worst character and I also thought Lulu was pretty sucky for a black mage.

I thought Lulu was an awesome character, but towards the end yeah her magic does start to suck, I thought Lulu was pretty sexy as well, a dress made of belt buckles :)

Kimarhi is decent at the beggining, but in the middle he is sort weak for a while, then later on he gets strong again, he shifts at certain parts of the game.

every battle I would just level tidus, auron, wakka, Lulu, and yuna, the first time I played through. But then I played through again and tried doing it with all the characters.

i rarely ever used magic in the game. All you have to do is have all your aeons on overdrive before a big battle and you're set. Of course Tidus and Auron are great for back up and to some extent wakka.

yeah good point, I think I did the same just used overdrives for boss battles, I found her useful against elementals in normal battles, same as wakka with flying enemies, but yeah for boss battles overdrives with aeons and overdrives for characters, magus sisters ftw baby :P

ya I kept dying and I wasn't motivated enough to level grind and this was VERY early in the game. So ya, I can't say I know anything about this 7 messages mumbo jumbo but hey... good luck with that :)

well in order to get the best class in the game and some of the sidequests you have to send someone with the same 7 messages with the same game it sucks -_-

I think you should give it a chance, if you trouble try gamefaqs, also I could prob help ya if ya need advice, you can get through the game good enough usually with two warriors, white mage, black mage, or red mages for a good amount of the game,

you prob will have to grind alil now and then but not to much, I did extra though, but thats sometimes why I like to play FF games on emulators, because it has a fastfoward option :P

makes grinding so much quicker.

yeah dude grinding can be alil annoying in that game, I never tried going through without doing extra yet, but I would imagine if you didn't grind extra, you might be at level 40-45 by the end of the game, you could probably beat the final boss but will be challenging although there are places later in the game that give you really good experience later on like the sunken caves, bahamuts cave, and leviathans cave.

well I admit, the characters do not have to much development buts in the original NES FF3 there was even less development almost like FF1's character development, you once again have to give names to characters lie you did in FF1 and FF2 for nes, but yeah there is barely any development in the original FF3 for NES, just your party anyways, so the DS remake was an improvement I give it that, where before they had even less :P

also if you want to make leveling quicker, just grind on enemies that give you a lot of experience and just spam powerful magic a lot to kill them quickly, if you want to save money make sure your near a town with a inn or a pot that restores your MP/HP. Like the pokemon center trick, grind towards a town a with pokemon center because its free and you don't have to waste items ;)

thats what i was doing but even at that it was just taking too much time and while grinding i was getting slain. It was just a clusterfuck of frustration. I guess my patience is wearing thin these days.

the other thing you can do is use cure magic to get HPs back, but don't waste potions, fenix downs, or hi potions, there is always a way, and save the game after gaining a level or 2, thats what I did, in case I would get slain, there is always a way ;)
