I kinda hate the instinct thingy, but if the old school map would be completley deleted and the instinct mode would replace that, that would be kinda cool. It actually gives more challenge to not be able to see too far away where civilians are etc...

But I dislike the fact that you can see where a person is going to walk...either way as a old school player I have really been waiting for this game.

I'm pretty sure that this is kinda like the splinter cell series (just read, you'll see what I'm getting at) as in this might be the last game, where everything clicks into place, but really really dumbed down, and easier. You haven't played the game, David Bateson can't voice 47 (it's not the end of the world), Diana's voice hasn't been replaced, it has something to do with the story, You can turn off instinct mode and make the game even harder, there's probably like 1 or 2 linear missions in the game so stop complaining and it's not Splinter Cell just because 47 sneaks and kills in the trailer, it's just that stealth gameplay looks boring to new people in trailer and such. Not shut the fuck up.

I am sorry and I realize that it is a drastic change to normal Hitman but I can't not say this. It looks extremely awesome according to the 16 or whatever minute long gameplay video I have seen. The Instinct feature is quite cheap and unrealistic and I probably wouldn't use it unless you could only use it after earning it by doing something that isn't easy to do. But otherwise, the realistic AI, graphics and close quarters combat that reacts fluently makes it look like my new favorite game.

@alex36d Absolution will be more personal to Mr 47 and the developers said themselves that there will be more talking. In other words, if i buy the game ( haven't decided yet) i have to listen to Mr 47 new Batman voice (which is terrible) , instead of the calm and collected voice of David Bateson.

And Mr 47 is not as you said an easy talker, but in the previous games he talked in the cutscenes, not much but enough to make Batesons voice, The voice of 47.Batesons voice simply fits for 47

@alex36d I've read every single interview and watched every single gameplay video there is at the moment and i could find and if we look at the previous hitman games, they were always different compared to the other sneaking franchises out the there like splinter, metal gear, etc. The biggest differences were always well, of course the freedom and the use of disguises and the map.

Now, what i've seen from absolution thus far; the map has been replaced by a minimap and instinct....

In the previous games Mr47 would simply walk past them into the elevator, but here he uses instinct to get past them by covering his face. Exactly the same thing happens downstairs where 47 passes a few gaurds to eat a donut; he uses the instinct again and covers his face. So, does this mean every time i pass a guard i have to use instinct ?

And before i forget the map thing:No, i didn't know always which path the guards would...

In absolution you WILL know BEFOREHAND the EXACT path the guard is going to take, thanks to instinct. How is that hardcore to you ? And before you say again that you don't have to use the instinct, then why did 47 use it the demo to those cops ? Maybe, because he had to??

Then play PRO ffs.. Btw IO is looking for an increased replay value... For exemple First time u play that mission, the first guard goes left, the second time u play that mission that same quard will go right or forwards or will speak to you, third time u play it their is a change there are 3 guards on None

@Moazz24 I have exactly same problem. The games are much more action movie like, lot of easier and lack of challenge and the singleplayers are just copies of one another.

Also, there are lot of games that have the exactly same scenes as some older action movies example in uncharted 3 where drake is hanging on that cargoplane. The exact same scene was in one of timothy daltons bond flicks from the 80s.

Has the developers really lost creativity and imagination over the years?? I hope not.

You can go stealth, u can complete missions without changing suits, u can end it up without any kill, or 10 or all kill them. It's all up to you, everyone is happy everyone can end it like he want to.

Yes, i believe you can play the game by using stealth, however the stealth parts in the gameplay video resembles a lot the new deus ex and splinter cell conviction. Not necessarily a bad thing, but if i wanted to play deus ex or splinter i would play them and not some rip-off.

I really don't understand why you people are whining and complaining, the trailer looks absolutely incredible, the twelve minute trailer alone is better than the entire conviction game, the attention to detail is mind-blowing and the AI is fantastic, if the whole game is similar to that trailer it would be the best stealth game ever created, i think it's a lot better that this game isn't as restrictive as the ones before it, it's more interactive and compelling, you can choose how you escape

Oh and the instinct mode is instead of that magic map that showed every single npc and you can switch it off. On hardcore mode you can't even switch it ON. IMO it's a more immersive/non gameplay breaking solution. Also it's limited.

Besides, we've only seen one gameplay video so far, which is most likely from the first mission and serves as a tutorial just like in Hitman: Blood Money. Jesper Kyd could not do the soundtrack cause he's busy with Assassin's Creed. The new composer was recommended by the man himself (he has worked with him before) and I think he'll do a great job. Also there will be old style hitman missions aswell as more linear missions to progress the story. Stop whining like little bitches.
