Master played well but the instrument(harmonium) is not in good condition. Harmonium sounds not good. single key read at a time being played in this video.duel key playing gives melodious sound. third octave sound is thin but not louder. it should be thin and a little louder.harmonium reads were close to expire. tabla was great.

@shishyupal Sounds more like Raag Puriya Dhanashree. But then again, I'm not an expert. It is a very beautiful rendition! Raag Puriya Dhanashree in Soolphak Taal, I believe.

Yes it is he is very young. Watch his roopak performance in which he puts jhaptaal in roopak and you will recognize him. He looked different when he was young because he didn't grow out his hair so long back then.

Has potential. But tendency to run the fingers too fast hampers the beauty of the rendition. Also the spirit of Puriya Dhanashree has been violated in some places which is unacceptable.

this is a good performance but it is vocal style on harmonium .plz refer to the solo performances of harmonium by Pt.Kishore Banerjee which is a very rare style of instrumental techinuque on harmonium with master piece of jhala.

yes and for your kind information vocal style is the most difficult and rare one see how the master sahib plays ghamak and meend he was the first to do this in harmonium.He was the best ever in harmonium
