  • Sounds identical to Robert Johnson! Amazing Voice.

  • OMG! where its at!

  • Bob Dylan once said, in an interview in Sing Out magazine circa 1967, "There is a strong line in all our music that can be traced back directly to Scrapper Blackwell. He was a truly great musician who did deserve more than was ever given him."

  • And I second that

  • great!

  • do you have the song blues before sunrise? good stuff

  • cool , sounds like this is where robert Johnson got "hell hound on my trail" right?

  • "Hellhound On My Trail" was derived from Skip James's "Devil Got My Woman", in D minor tuning.

  • Not necessarily.

  • Where did he get it from, then?

  • I'm pretty sure it was Devil Got My Woman... these song bears very little resemblance to hellhound actually.

  • Its the blues a hell of a lot of songs have the same sound tone and rhythm.
