  • A great episode slim. I am off for half term so i am going to watch as many as possible. Oh and btw the game is called advanced wars not advance wars. Doesn't matter just saying. Advanced wars games where on the GBA and advance wars are on the DS.

  • You should have played Back in Time by Huey Lewis at some point.

  • this was the best game when i was little so thanks for bringin back the past and also what doe you use to record this stuff i was thinkin of makin a couple of lets plays with my best bud

  • :O

  • ...Hee, hee...?

  • i totally forgot my question but your answer seems reasonable :)

  • your fire alram went off?lol

  • advance wars is the shit! i remember playing it with my mate every night on this holiday thing ;)

  • I can't remember- Olaf isn't really know for his naval combat, is he? What's he known for? Or is he just the average-rated enemy?

  • Olaf is like Andy in a sense. He doesn't really have any strengths or weaknesses in normal conditions, so he is pretty well balanced. However his main problem is that he doesn't really excel in anything either.

His main attributes come from the weather. If it is snowing, he gets stronger, if it rains, he gets worse off.

  • What about the Fire Alarm?

  • he he... Grit called him a Fireball.... It made me giggle XD

  • Geez, so much for Andy's Route, his second mission you are already forced to use Max. Although I think I know which mission it is.. and I'm looking forward to it :p

Great video as always, wish there would be more advance wars but I can't have everything right ? And it's not like Yoshi's Island is bad either. So good job on your videos, you deserve every single one of those 7000 subscribers.

    Now shout out plz lololololol

^Example of what to do to annoy people.

    Good luck with your vids

  • @DragonKNIGHTS103

After Yoshi's Island, I will be increasing the rate at which I upload Advance Wars...again, and there will probably be a few occurrences where I do Advance Wars for 2 days in a row.

I know this because I have my uploading schedule for the next two months pretty much planned out already, and at one point I'll have Advance Wars every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, so definitely look forward to that. :P

  • Youtube speech recognition wins

  • actually, it fails.....it's just really funny to watch the failure. :P

  • yeh, i got like two lines of the word 'the'

  • Man you really pwned Olaf's forces near the end of that map there. I dont know why but like the battleships i would of saved up my funds and used them to bombard the crap out of him.

  • wow, the first real mission that only took one video! nice job, slim! loveing advance wars.

  • TODAYS MY BIRTHDAY YAY

  • Happy birthday

  • um happy birthday anywaysgoo job on every thing slim =)

  • I was actually just sayign it to him.

  • oh ok

  • my birthday is december 23rd

  • wow thats a long way

  • yeah.

  • Arrogant piece of work?... wow thats a bad insult?

  • looks like you only got 5600 credits at the last turn? so does the credit gain change per round? howcome? i am confused

  • Because he had a unit being repaired which requires funds, had you payed attention you would of seen him have 7000 then see supply notice tank go from 6 to 8 and lose 1400 funds.

  • @rx7here

they supply the tanks and that costs

  • Thanks for reminding me of that, I should probably explain that next time.

Anyways, as what VacantMinded and WO2DW6Rocks said, whenever you heal a unit on a city or base, you have to use some of your funds to repair it. In this case, since tanks are 7000 funds, and 20% of 7000 is 1400, it spent 1400 of my funds on the unit repair. It always repairs 2 HP (which is 20%), so the percentage figures always remain the same, but the cost will differ between units.

  • @rx7here well, if no one's gonna reply to you in ten months, i guess i will. just cuz.

max normally gets 7000 funds, but if you place an injured unit on a city or base to heal, it takes funds to heal it. if funds allow, all units gain 2HP per turn, right? so this tank (perfect for doing this math) costs 7000. To heal it 2HP, essentially giving it 2 more tanks to max out its HP, it costs 2/10 of the entire tank. The tank is again 7000, so 2/10, or 1/5, of it is 1400 (1400 x 5 = 7000).

  • @rx7here continued from below:

so the 1400 is subtracted from max's total funds he has for that turn. 7000 income minus 1400 = 5600. If he had more, say he bought a recon last turn, it'd be 10,000 - 1400 = 8600.

  • im pretty sure this is the first mission you've come across were the enemy can build units as well, i find this gets annoying in later on missions, great vid slim

  • I love this game.

  • nice video
