I worked on this at Rockwell International. The original machine had a base-plate of prefabulated amulite, surmounted by a malleable logarithmic casing in such a way that the two spurving bearings were in a direct line with the pentametric fan. I think he is talking about the Torque Converter, where the fluid inside the will go through the pump impeller, through the vanes of the stator redirecting the fluid and onto the vanes of the Turbine. He just made words up and made it sound all complicated.
