Let say Flair was good in both, and a good flair to select his feud&made it interesting

at least back then they made you believe it was real fueds..and that that they were actual athletes who competed to show who was the best or the toughest..now its just too soap opera and we all know its rigged and predictable..and they just dont convince me its worth watchin anymore! bring back the old matches, thats actually worth payin to see again

Guys today can't cut a promo to save their lives... Flair, Piper, Warrior, promo artists-- off the cuff, unscripted... best promo cutters in my book. Flair's promos, upon watching, are clinically proven to alleviate any anxiety or depression you may have!!!! =)

Watching older promos are funny and entertaining, there's no doubt about that, but I'm willing to bet that if guys like Ric Flair watch old footage of themselves they will probably shield their face in embarrassment and say..."oh god what was I thinking?!"

Oh and The Warrior was just freakin' scary, I question his sanity. Wouldn't want to be locked in a room with him, totally unstable, but you gotta love it, lol.

@PhillyKutsProduction wouldnt call the warrior one of the best talkers myself, but then i never understood a word of what he was saying. i think jake roberts is one of if not the best talkers, right up with the likes of flair and piper.
with regards to todays lot, yea, most of them cant talk for squat, though i think CM Punk can be the exception, he's shown some sparkles of genius in his promos unlike the rest of them

@PhillyKutsProduction Flair and Piper, definite artists. Replace the Ultimate Warrior with the Million Dollar Man, Mic Foley, or Jerry Lawler, though. As exciting as it was to watch Warrior in the ring, listening to the guy..you need subtitles and an interpreter on some kind of hallucinogen to understand what the hell he's saying..

It was some "X" factor shit...I don't even watch wrestling on the regular now, but from what I have seen they do need to bring in some talent with mic skill!!

REALLY?? he couldnt wrestle his way out of a wet paper bag. in terms of talent he was mediocre at best. he had tons of charisma but that was about it. and him being probably the biggest asshole and most unprofessional talent the wwf ever had didnt help his cause. i mean seriously what match can you name that you can honestly say was a great 5 star match? im not saying you cant like him cuz i was a huge sid fan back wen i was a kid but he wasnt the best tech. wrestler either
