  • haha you don't need that many assistants to do that kind of stretch! Just back against a wall and have someone push and hold your leg up. Or you can do it alone by placing your foot high up on the wall or on a high bar. Beginners will have to start low. cheers!

  • Great, primarily because dude kept his guard hand up during the stretch. I try to do this every time I train, on heavy bag, Tire dummy, shadow boxing, 5 minute drills, etc. I usually catch myself dropping the guard from time to time. Good work, man!

  • They don't have to touch his ass for this stretch.

  • @RonnieRocker

people like you only get laughed at in the real world, i bet you are one of the people who never shower because they are afraid of naked men and their own insecurities.

pathetic go and think about dicks and asses while other people actually train

  • @schmendriks

Sorry to disappoint, but i showered amongst other guys just yesterday. You're welcome to join. But I still don't want you to touch my butt, neither in the shower nor when I train or stretch. If that's how you do it then that's your own business - here we do fighting sports, it's as simple as that.

If you don't know how to do this stretch on your own I suggest you start learning a little about stretching.

I'm not sure why you felt so provoked by my lasy comment. Please inform us.

  • wgat us PNF?

  • youre fking awesome man ty ty ty fking much :)

i can do it now man ur awesome .... and me to now :P

  • stretching is vital to prevent injury to muscle for high kicks, how do I know, well I did not stretch that day and tore a leg muscle due to a high front kick!

  • lol, happened to me too.

  • took 3 weeks to heal

  • lol haha but u can kick high now ?

  • not really have constant leg cramps!

  • Dynamic stretching is much more useful for high kicks in my opinion.

  • yes and no. during the warm up u should use more dynamic stretching. means u are in a similar position like during the static form but swing into the stretch a couple of times. so u dont loose speed. if u use static stretching ull loose speed (not permanent). u can work against that negativ effect with speed jumps etc after the static stretching. beside this u should use static stretching as an extra (and or after) training for an all over flexibility.

  • I'm not talking about all over flexibility, but just for kicks'. A while ago I was only doing static stretching for my legs, because I thought it would help my high kicks, but it actually didn't do much (even though I was close to doing the splits). I stopped when I learned that dynamic stretches were more useful. And they indeed were, I could kick much higher after a couple of weeks, and most of all, they were much more fluid, explosive and powerful. Lost some static passive flexibility though.

  • Can you please message me and explain that more in depth please. I dont really understand the "dynamic" and other words, but I think im doing what you did... Stretching, but the wrong way, I can almost do the splits, but its not helping my kicking lol It would be sweet if you could explain to me whats the truth about stretching lol

  • Google dynamic stretching and kicks and you'll understand.

  • ive done similar training... a top (if u care) is to be up against a wall abd have someone slowly bring ur leg up and holding it at ur highest point... THEN u must press down on ur leg while they push up. it works wonders. it works for a sidekick, roundhouse and front kick.

    great vids.. keep them up.

  • very good!
