OUTSTANTING VIDEO...Ironically I met Derek Thomas in Japan in 1994 prior to the Vikings/Chiefs game. Him and I talked at length about his respect for the military and how his dad died on a B52 mission out of Guam in 1972. Another twist of fate, I was stationed on Guam when Derek passed. We were trying to put together a photo plaque around the memorial that has his dad's name on it when Derek passed away...
