I hate this mission, It's had me stuck for a while, but it could just be because I'm really agressive in these games, I don't usually think out where's the best place to put my units, but anyways, other than that, any hints malus?

Here's a question for you. If they didn't want you doing an HQ capture in one turn with Lightning Strike, then why let Sami have a power that does just that?

If anyone should have that ability, it should probably be the infantry based CO eh? I'm fairly sure Victory March has a higher star cost than Lightning Strike does, for that very reason.

@MalusCalibur Actually, I believe Sami has an 8 star charge meter to Eagle 9 star. And Sami's super takes 5 stars beyond her normal to Eagle's 6.

So unless it takes less destructive value to fill up a star for Eagle than it does for Sami, Sami would get her Super before Eagle.

*double checks this info* Yeah, Sami has 8, Eagle has 9, both need 3 to fill up the normal power.

One thing I've noticed about the rival Black Hole COs is their ability to directly counter their counterparts.

Flake can take out Max before he has a chance to attack.

Lash's fondness for forests hides her from Sonja.

Adder can use his power to close in on Grit's artillery.

And the threat of Hawke's power is a natural defense against Eagle's "hit hard, hit first" style.

You're half right. I think your comments about Adder and Hawke have some basis in reality. However, Lash does not favour forests, she favours terrain in general (the more stars the better), and sitting in a forest does not hide anyone from Sonjas COP/SCOP. And Flak (quite what additions to ice cream have to do with AW is beyond me) does not counter anyone. 'Can take out Max before he has a chance to attack'? How do you work that out? Flak is bad. Really bad. And that's what he is meant to be.

Because I was saving it for the moment I did use it: it seemed far more oppurtune than the chances I had before.

The fact that I screwed up the 2nd move and almost lost the entire level is another matter.

Not to saying you play bad (which you don't), but I normaly just attack all his units frst, and ten I concentrate on the cannons when he's helpless. I wish I could play a game one on one with you, that would be so awesome xD
