@Quartz482 He did 1 million miles in 4 years. That's 250000 a year with 52 weeks in a year
250000 / 52 = 4807.7 miles every week on average
With an oil change every 4800 miles that's 280 oil changes in 4 years
Its recomended that you change oil every 3000 miles. You can usually go over a few hundred and it will not hurt. However he went 1800 miles over 280 times.
Also just for fun. 280 oil changes at average $25 is $7000 compared to price of a new f250
@chevylovinfool15 ouch, you mad? all i'm saying is that there are more days than you calculated. if you're going to go through the math, it might as well be correct.
If you do the math. 1,000,000 divided by 4 years, equals 250,000 miles a year. That's 685 miles a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. I just can't believe one person does all that driving. he dont stop for his moms Bday? i bet the odomiter in the truck just broke and shows that. i mean really folks when could the truck ever get any work done? probly just some guy wanting to be on TV and a shop wanting the free advertisement. i say no way in 4 years. maybe 6 years.
@blownutsmyass Here's some even better math for you 1,000,000 divided by the $67,000 he spent in upkeep at that shop equals $14.92 a mile not even fueled or insured yet! How could any one make a profit with that much cost per mile? Assuming he paid cash for the truck or there would also be the monthly payment for that over the past 4 years... He shoulda bought a desiel or an internatonal MXT
@tinderinc you did the math wrong, it's 7 cents per mile not 14 dollars! You need to go back to elementary where they teach you how to use a calculator.

@mocslayer813 I guess you're just a typical idiot who thinks its cheap to drive 10,000 to 15,000 miles a week? It would cost just as much to run any truck of comparable size that many miles a week. Probably more because any truck other than a FORD would be sitting in the Junk Yard.
@MercuryMorrison1 type in million mile chevy the first 1 had 1,010,800 only gas and oil was changed i currently own a year 2000 ford ranger with 33,000 miles and already the computer is messed up dont get me rong i love any thing in American (besides illegals) but in my opinion chevy is better
@mocslayer813 Thats what you do to any vehicle, you service it so it will still work. I dont know where you got the idea of "typical ford" maintenance. My family as of now owns 5 fords, f150, ranger, f350 v10 dumptruck, 99 E-250 van, and an explorer, none of them have had a problem, and 2 of them have well over 300,000 miles on it. All of them except the explorer are strictly for work.
@mocslayer813 Like MercuryMorrison1 said, if you maintain em' they'll last forever, but the maintanence bill will cost a lot....nobody realizes how many miles that actually is.
My Dad has almost 500'000 miles on his Ford Focus.

wow with $67,000 in maintenance a year, you could keep any vehicle going! Still amazing

Not to many fords out there with a million miles but quite a few Chevy's have with ease.
dietz4ibanez 4 months ago
@dietz4ibanez If that was true maybe Ford wouldn't have so many more news videos about it.

Any vehicle used in a fleet/delivery job will last forever because they actually maintain the vehicles...
