  • My Dad has almost 500'000 miles on his Ford Focus.

  • wow with $67,000 in maintenance a year, you could keep any vehicle going! Still amazing

  • @Quartz482 He did 1 million miles in 4 years. That's 250000 a year with 52 weeks in a year

    250000 / 52 = 4807.7 miles every week on average

With an oil change every 4800 miles that's 280 oil changes in 4 years

Its recomended that you change oil every 3000 miles. You can usually go over a few hundred and it will not hurt. However he went 1800 miles over 280 times.

Also just for fun. 280 oil changes at average $25 is $7000 compared to price of a new f250

btw this is just rough estimates

  • my dads got a 97 F150 and he's almost halfway there. He's got 475,000 on his right now with no major repairs

  • goes to show that proper maintenance means alot!

  • Over 15 grand per year in maintenance and repairs.

  • @counterclockwise123 Better than a Ferrari lol.

  • @G0Far True, but a Ferrari will get you tons of pussy.

  • @counterclockwise123 Only one, unless you get a 456M, FF, or 612 Scaglietti :).

  • once you name a vehicle betsy it just dont wanna stop running! something about that name is majic for the durability of a car! im not joking either

  • As much as he drives it I'm looking forward to the next few years when it's got 2 and then 3 million. If it will go that long.

  • Not to many fords out there with a million miles but quite a few Chevy's have with ease.

  • @dietz4ibanez If that was true maybe Ford wouldn't have so many more news videos about it.

  • Any vehicle used in a fleet/delivery job will last forever because they actually maintain the vehicles...

  • Chevy and dodge fans, go fuck a chode.

  • Oh yea built ford tough

  • @chevylovinfool15 ouch, you mad? all i'm saying is that there are more days than you calculated. if you're going to go through the math, it might as well be correct.

  • thats ford built tough

  • dang, i thoufht 230k was alot for an 06 f-350, but i think were pretty close to that 67k repair bill.

  • my 5.4 hs 215,000 original, its ready for a million.

  • This is one very good truck. My Olds quit @ just 175k.

  • @88soulsurvivor did you change your oil every week? hahah

  • @TeenIronMan trans died on it.

  • If you do the math. 1,000,000 divided by 4 years, equals 250,000 miles a year. That's 685 miles a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. I just can't believe one person does all that driving. he dont stop for his moms Bday? i bet the odomiter in the truck just broke and shows that. i mean really folks when could the truck ever get any work done? probly just some guy wanting to be on TV and a shop wanting the free advertisement. i say no way in 4 years. maybe 6 years.

  • @blownutsmyass guess what big boy...the 2006 ford truck was built in 2005. re-do your math

  • @blownutsmyass Here's some even better math for you 1,000,000 divided by the $67,000 he spent in upkeep at that shop equals $14.92 a mile not even fueled or insured yet! How could any one make a profit with that much cost per mile? Assuming he paid cash for the truck or there would also be the monthly payment for that over the past 4 years... He shoulda bought a desiel or an internatonal MXT

  • @tinderinc you did the math wrong, it's 7 cents per mile not 14 dollars! You need to go back to elementary where they teach you how to use a calculator.

  • @abffy1 I tryed it both ways and the 7 cents just didnt seem right. Im pritty sure my math is correct!

  • @tinderinc you did the math wrong, it's 7 cents per mile not 14 dollars! You need to go back to elementary where they teach you how to use a calculator.

  • dam one tough truck prolly will get them tards on there just delete their comments. bet ya it could go a million more

  • And please, I don't want to hear the Chevy and Dodge boys bitch. Thank you.

  • @Broadcastbuddy2 haha typical ford he spent more in 4 years keeping it serviced then 2 of those trucks cost

  • @mocslayer813 I guess you're just a typical idiot who thinks its cheap to drive 10,000 to 15,000 miles a week? It would cost just as much to run any truck of comparable size that many miles a week. Probably more because any truck other than a FORD would be sitting in the Junk Yard.

  • @MercuryMorrison1 type in million mile chevy the first 1 had 1,010,800 only gas and oil was changed i currently own a year 2000 ford ranger with 33,000 miles and already the computer is messed up dont get me rong i love any thing in American (besides illegals) but in my opinion chevy is better

  • @mocslayer813 Thats what you do to any vehicle, you service it so it will still work. I dont know where you got the idea of "typical ford" maintenance. My family as of now owns 5 fords, f150, ranger, f350 v10 dumptruck, 99 E-250 van, and an explorer, none of them have had a problem, and 2 of them have well over 300,000 miles on it. All of them except the explorer are strictly for work.

  • @mocslayer813 Like MercuryMorrison1 said, if you maintain em' they'll last forever, but the maintanence bill will cost a lot....nobody realizes how many miles that actually is.

  • @Superduty011 your right most people dont understand how many miles that is
