Maybe I should learn how to correct 'before' I click the post button. For Utopia's Album...which was his band which started in 73 or 74..... Gosh, sorry, I need to go back to bed and start this day over! LOL!!!
You are correct mzchella, Todd wrote this song that appeared as the last track on his Utopia album I think in 1977. Yes greg4161, it didn't sound as polished maybe or do as good as England Dan & John "Ford" Coley's version, but that's because that's all we heard on the radio back then, their take on it. I think they broke the Top 10 with it? Todd was/is still an amazing musical and creative force, musician, producer, writer and performer. :)
Dreadful and embarrassing, some of our heroes age poorly. i saw him perform this at Knebworth in 79 supporting led Zep in front of over 100,000 people and this song was awesome as the set closer.
wow!! different version....I LUV TODD ALWAYS!!very laid back "caribe tropical sound" i like the rhythm, its his song and he can do it best...amazing always...
With a Twist is unbelievable. I could play this while my parents(70's) are in the room and they wouldn't scrunch their face. I loved this album as much as any other he's ever done.
hahaha face it peoples...

@ahfaxthis I'm with Rogsteel - He's singing it Bossanova-style. DUH! You have obviously never heard "With a Twist" or you would understand...

Every Todd album is his best. His collection of music and styles is second to none.

I may be the only person on earth who loves the With a Twist album, for the same reason Todd does; just another way to listen to my favorite songs.
