This narrator needs to lighten up and have some god damn personality. Also, I agree that the GT-R isn't a veyron killer. However, the GTR is better, my opinion. The GTR is proof of what's technically possible today, at a low price. On the other hand, I wouldn't want to be driving around paranoid of hitting anything. The veyron is too expensive to actually use. Costs about 6 million to just make one, so it's a bargain. But still, GTR is just better.

The video's name and description don't actually say it's a Veyron killer, the point of putting the question mark after it is to imply that it could possibly be with the figures it's putting out. They admit the Veyron is faster in this video, but the GT-R is a small fraction of the price. its kind of likening it to a nuclear bomb, which you don't use very often, up against a smart bomb, which is used all the time. sure the veyron might be more super of a car, but the gtr as a real life car that you can use to go to work, and get some grins on the weekends, is the best value and the best bang for the buck.

If you mean the air brake function of the spoiler, Bugatti stole that from Ford, they used it on the GT-90. Bugatti also stole the shape of the car and the 4 turbos from the GT-90....
that 1/4 mile isnt really that quick considering Supra's with not that much more power are down in the 8's and still street driven. but hot diggity, this GT-R is slick.

Veyron Killer? Not even close. Veyrons are made for one thing, TOP SPEED upwards of 250+ mph. This video did not prove anything against the Veyron. They need to change the title. You can get an Atom V8 that will knock this alpha out on a curb.

Depending on the state, 15-25 years old is old enough to be emissions exempt.

@scbonduk your wrong the tuned G-TR would destroy a 911 turbo on the Nürburgring ring. The stock gt-r 2011 model time is 7:24, and the 2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS only does it in 7:18 and the GT2 Rs is way better then a 911 turbo.

The Bugatti costs 2 Million for a few reasons.
1-If that Bugatti breaks down, you bet your ass that they will bend over backwards to fix that car.
2-While the interior of the GT-R is probably made of every light-weight material that could be harvested on Earth, The Bugatti payed no attention to lightweighting their car and still offers and extremely luxurious interior

Even the fastest LM racecars don't stay at top speed for very long, every racing regulation body has slowed down the cars because the speeds would tear the tires apart within 5 laps.

Do a little research before talking! Veyron's tires are tested to garauntee running more than 15 minutes at top speed w/o delamination, overheating, etc. by aircraft tire design co.
Veyronr runs out of fuel at full speed in about 12 minutes or less, so there's no way it can surpass the tire's design limits, by development.

Depending on the state, 15-25 years old is old enough to be emissions exempt.
