I'm still having troubles; I'm trying to put my iPhone into DFU so I can jailbreak it, but every time I try (multiple different ways) it just restarts my phone or gives me the connect to iTunes logo and RedSn0w can't recognize it. Is there any way you could help me, please?

@RamunePrincess i used the exact same thing and i got it to work... wen ur at the screen that sez to make sure that ur ipods off and connected to the computer and in quotes it sez that if you know how to put it into dfu mode do it there well do it on that screen and it automatically goes through i literally just did it a min ago

hey that doesn't work with me .. my firmware is 4.3.5 and i was trying to downgrade it to 4.3.3 so i can jailbreak it but during the proccess the iPod went to an stupid black screen and after it i cant enter the DFU mode So i can restore it

It will delete all your stuff but if you used it before on the acomputer after it restores it itll ask if you want to restore it from you back up which has all your stuff so it deletes it but it dosent haha

@athenalovescouture17 im afraid it will delete all your stuff, but yes you should press ok.i think that means your ipod is in dfu mode and then now you can shift restore it.

Wow I have been troubleshooting my IPOD for 2 days now and here this kid finally helped me fix it. All apps erased and no music but at least its not frozen!! And I didnt even have to pay apple to do this. I highly reccomend trying this before going and paying someone. My Itunes wouldnt recognize my IPOD and it woulnt charge in the wall or on the computer.
