  • WELL DONE

  • I rescued a little chiuaua off a lonely country road about 5 months ago. I've never had one before and he is so full of fun and such a cuddler. My cat Grayson and him (Leroy Brown) play non stop with each other.

  • For once I see a well-behaved Chihuahua.

I can't stand people who spoil their Chihuahua's and don't give them discipline. She is obviously a good owner.

  • We found our chi family friend abandoned on a rural highway last year. We searched for his former owners thinking him lost; they just did not want to be found.

If you are not going to show or breed, please adopt!

BTW, the yapping ankle biter is a stereotype. In a loving home, chihuahuas are awesome pets and can be good with kids and highly adaptable. Just use common sense.

  • Chee-who-a-who-as! Ankle biters! Around here they would be coyote food so I'll stick with my Burmese/German Shepherd. Three coyotes have been sizing her up for a meal but she tells them what they can do.

  • your careing alot of people just don't care

    very cool

  • They are gorgeous dogs (:

they are lucky to have you!

  • Thank you for taking those dogs in. Never buy a dog always adopt.

  • Awe that is so greatthat you rescue them. I have four running around my house and I love them to death. My smallest is a little female who weighs about 6 lbs and my biggest weighs 10. They don't ride in purses lol they like to walk.

  • I have two chihuahuas. One is almost ten pounds and looks healthy as a horse! LOL. I like her that way. I also have a 5 month old chihuahua puppy. You are right about the low weights promised. Here in Tennessee the advertisements promise 4-6 pounds. I just love the breed. I'm not concerned about a dog to carry in my purse. They are the sweetest things in the world and just thrive on love and attention. It is maddening that people use them as fashion accessories. Bless you for what you do.

  • I'm from Tennessee, too! In about 3 1/2 weeks I'm going to adopt a Chihuahua myself! My parents have always said "get them while they're puppies! a grown one will be mean, and blah blah blah" But me being the HUGE animal lover I am, I told them I was going to adopt!

  • That's so nice you do the work with the chihuahuas. I rescued two Huskies , one was abused and the other was given up during a divorce...it kills my what beautiful creatures.
