As a watchmaker with a diploma for it, HELL would I let you work with me or on any of my watch collection. It's only a matter of time before you really damage or scratch one of them, the way your handling it. ( or lose the screws which I never saw you put in a box, but laid on the table ready to fall somewhere). The really just angers me to see just mistreatmeant of high vaule objects of heirlooms.
I have seen several videos of this guy. man he scares me with that screw driver. I took a BREITLING in for service and got it back with a nice nick in from this type of handling. in my opinion this is bad practice in general and can only lead to mishaps...
the only nice movement that cartier uses. not makes they are not a manufacturer, is in the Pasha. And it is a Jaeger Le Coultre movement.(Both are in the Ridgemont Group). Other Than that they use E.T.A. movements and then engrave their name on it. Still one of the best looking watches out there. I own a roadster and i love it.
its a shame that this day and age promotes the uses of an inferior product. I take vintage, hand made goods over any made is china POS. Cartier is superior crftsmanship and warranty, with a signature look.
cant see any detail. hd is a must for this video

This guy's too casual the way he handles these watches. I personally would not let him work on any of my watches.

who cares if it's a quartz movement. if it was mechanical auto then he'd be silly to handle it the way he did.

If by pretentious you mean "gay", then I agree

I never really liked the look of Cartier watches, they always looked a bit too pretentious to me.
