@alexp8654 It's not a toy. It's a model from Polar Lights/Round 2. You have to assemble and paint it yourself. If you want lights, you have to add them yourself, or by an aftermarket light kit.
@6netfire I think that models work better than CGI because CGI has yet to master the accuracy of texture. I think that the problem is that CGI texture is too smooth and does not have a look of being in a real "atmosphere" around it. The more realistic, rougher lighting on a model is what counts in my opinion.
I want it! xD
I have one like these when I was 6 old, but from the Galaxy class not the Refit class

Invest in a dolly so you can do a proper tracking shot. Then add some sound effects and it would be seamless.

Does anyone know about the Polar Lights model kit of the Enterprise? It is this one correct? Do the lights come with that model kit?

Amazing job. Looks like it did in Star Trek: the Motion Picture

How did you get the lights to shine on the saucer decals, secondary hull decals and the nacelle decals?

Navigational deflector is the wrong colour. It's only red/orange when it's warming up. In flight mode it's an icy blue.
That alone would ruin this model for me.
KoNP69 2 years ago
The lighting kit most likely used for this model has the option of blue as well.

@tvcollective001 Cool!

@KoNP69
When the Enterprise departs the drydock, the navivational deflector looks just like that...
MauricioCasteglione 1 year ago
@KoNP69 Well, since it isn't REALLY going to warp off into sdpasce, just think of it AS warming up!

Same here. Could be originally extracted from Whrath of Khan. Even the time span of position lights are on is correct.
