REALLY ENJOYED WATCHING THIS FILM - HEARD ABOUT IT BUT NEVER SEEN IT - NEED TEACHERS LIKE THESE BUT BUT WITHOUT MAALFUNCTION - LOVED THE SMACKING OF BUTTS LOL
@bigMRDfan Actually I think it's a terabyte. A GB is a thousand MB. Still, for a movie made in 1990, it accurately predicted 1999 schools, and the response by the dept. of education. Also it correctly predicted Stacy Keach would have white hair and crazy eyes. Hopefully the death by robo-impalement won't come to fruition.
@ArtwayCreed Actually, it's one TERAbyte. Nonetheless, your point still stands. To power a full sentient android capable of independent reasoning and logical analysis would take far more than "1,000,000 megabytes."
This is one of those 80's movies you just can't live without... lol I was like 10yrs old when this came out back in 1989, man Expo 86's was awsome but this was cool! lmao cheese yes still cool for it's time great movie!
Anyone else notice anything weird about Stacy Keach's eyes in the film? They were like black pinpoints imbedded in globules of white. I felt sure he was going to turn out to be a robot as well because of them. I suppose he must have been on medication of some kind when it was made.
Fun 80s style movie to bring in the 90s. Funny how we all expected the turn of the century to be so technologically advanced. As the old commercial says "Where's my flying car?"
And that classic 80s style music too, when hard rock bands felt compelled to always use one of the following words in their first verse: shadows, chains, dark, night, dreams, flames, fire, burns/burning, tears, fears... ahhh the 80s.
@Mackaeddie he was also in River's Edge as Keanu Reeve's little brother. Probably his best movie. Of course with Crispen Glover and Dennis Hopper in the cast how can you not have cult dynamite?
One thing I noticed were many references to "A Clockwork Orange". Never directly but they were still there to avoid infringement. Shows that during the ages remaking movies/ideas will always be in hollywood. Some are from a lesser $ from a studio now but always good to give the FNG's a view....
i justs watched dis movie for the second time in my life,i was bout 5 or 6 the first time i saw it but from dat point own i alwayz thought dat my school teachers were robots.im 24 now but i guess this movie was the reason why???lol
@sundersart im glad my "grammer" caught your eye.was up late smoking and watching bad movies and wasnt too worried about my spelling, but i hope u enjoyed the movie and have a blessed day.#all in my videos
I don't know why you would choose to use motor bikes in the school... Wouldn't that just be a pain to navigate? But I really like how effective "destroy the brain or remove the head" is. haha
