Poor Kirk ... he gives up # 802 to Gretzky, is losing goalie in the 54 yr Rangers curse coming to an end... he's on the wrong end of a lot of hockey history..so I will say this: In his prime Kirk was a HELL of a goalie, the Canucks don't get anywhere NEAR game 7 of the 94 finals without him, not to mention that he is a class guy all the way...ton of charity work, accessible to fans. To this day still the best goalie in VAN history. (Luongo choked, Kirk didn't.)

@samuellu1 He has over 300 already and has only been playing for 6 seasons. Do the math and average how many goals he would have if he kept going at that rate, playing as long as Gretzky did.

Based on this season he can muster only 450 goals in his career than retire. Asuming he even gets that far. Oveckin is one good player but the dude getting 600 goals in his career? Not with Semin or Backstrom. He needs someone like Giroux in order to achieve that great number. Caps pay him what 100 million for 21 years so I doubt he is going to Philly any time soon.
