Alot of fun. WAX was one of many "duos" that came out of nowhere in the 1980's(Andrew Gold was well known anyway) such as WHAM,GO WEST, GODLY & CREAME and others...music very much of the time, great overproduced sound, catchy hook, in a way it was bubblegum music of the day. I miss those days, happy music...

I completely agree! It is great and holds up well over time. The hooks are fantastic. Perhaps it was too good for radio play. The sound reminds me a bit of Mike and the Mechanics.

Definitely, one of the very best songs of the 80s. It was not the big hit it deserved to be at that time (Unfortunately that usually happens with good music) but today it remains in the subconscious of many many people around the world.
