It is attached to wires. How do we know you or another person aren't controlling it?

@robomantis good question but most of the wires were extras I left on the connector I used. They are not connected to anything. The only important wires were the two connecting to the replacement batteries. It was just an accident that it pushed the pen. I didn't know where it was going go.

dad45 thanks for replying nicely and not swearing lol but you know it's my opinion, anyway why dont u get some colourd paper or somthing and cover it and tape the paper onto it. then it would look normal oh and remake vid so we cansee updated one wit the coin batteries

Sweet!

I would use AAAs so it would be less bulky but the changes youve made might make it run longer,

but I don't know what the LED is for...

since making this I've tried a number of different batteries. The AAAs are bulky and heavy for this little bug. What works real well are those coin type batteries found in music greeting cards. The cellphone just by itself over powers the hexbot. The LED was mostly for show but it helped consume some of that extra power too.

i'm getting AAA and AA mixed up - yeah AAA are the smaller ones. But as I said the coin type are the best ones which are similar to the original batteries. Also I forgot that this first clip didn't have the cellphone battery. There's another clip with that setup. The cellphone battery is too powerful but LEDs and a resistor can fix that.
