cont...fiddle the bass a little but my ability did not have anything to do with my body appearance!!! It had everything to do with my willingness to learn and discipline myself to get better at what I do. I'm not mad but I get bothered when people (the most intelligent beings on earth God created) can't see the beauty of the forest because they can't see pass the trees in front of them! @ChiapasZapata - to answer your question..NO...weight whether it is heavy or light has nothing and I repeat NOTHING to do with your ability to use the gift God has given you! No matter what it is from playing an instrument to singing a song, People everywhere has proven that you can do ALL things through Christ that strengthens you! I'm not over weight and I have been a musician for over 24 years and God has given a gift to hear and play the keyboard, play the drums and fiddle the bass.

Do ya thang girl! I play bass at my church as well (by ear) and I noticed you have small hands . . .what make/model bass do you play? I need to invest in a bass for small hands. I play a 5 string Fender but I'm looking for a good bass that doesn't have such a wide fret. You have any suggestions?

Thanks for getting back to me Sis . . .and I own Rogue 4 string as well (LOL) That's actually my favorite because it's so light weight and it has the smaller fret board. I guess there may not be anything out there with a smaller fret board, huh? I was told of this one other bass when I was out in California but I just couldn't remember the name brand. If you come up with the names of some other brands with the smaller fretboard hit me back . . .thanks!
