thats marths dancing blade which starts with forward-b then 3 combos with a variation of combos. For example, Forward B, Down B, Down B, Down B which u saw at 0:18 - 0:21

Ike is okay... but Marth is a better character. The person playing Ike in this vid is clearly much more skilled than the person playing Marth, were they to switch places, the guy playing Ike would win as Marth as well. If the Marth had properly used his counterattack and speed advantages he could have easily beaten the Ike.

ike is just awesome but the con about him is that his attacks are slow so if you do one too many in the air, your doomed, if your kicked out in a horizontal direction, youre doomed, hes got no way to recover from that . and that all your attacks can be countered with a good come back and last but not least ikes counter-attack move is abit slow so if you dont guess when theyre making the move they will hit you since it actually takes a while to be ready... even so, hes so good he still pwns :D

You actually can recover horizontally with Ike. You just use his side B.

but you cant recover on a diagonal direction, if they kick you out on a horizontal direction you will also lose height and usually when your luanched horizontally you end up too far away to use up+B ...btw side B needs to be cahrged if your launched horizontally by the time its charged youre already about to die..unless youre literally next to the edge, but im talking about once you get 80+%

The person being Ike = Completly mastered him. He knows how to main Ike. He completly takes advantage of his slow speed.

The person being Marth however seriously needs to train >_> I main Marth for brawl and I can give you one major tip. Counterattack! You could have easily reflected a good bit of those attacks!

It has to do with his forward+special combo that is unique to him. The first move you do in the combo is always forward+special, but after that, instead hitting forward+special again, you can either hit up+special or down+special to get different sword strikes. Those multiple hits you saw at the end when Marth crouched down is the final attack if your last directional choice in the combo is down+special.

Good match. I've been watching some of your videos. You're really good with Ike. When I first played him, he was a lot different from when I was used to playing as Roy. But powerhouse characters were always my favs to use. As for which char. is the best, none are. It's all about style and which character suits your playing style. I also had trouble playing with Marth first time around in Brawl. He doesn't suck, nor does the guy using him. Everyone sucks the first time around, right?
