@MusicMan44144 Pinch harmonics. It has to do with undertones.. Basically his thumb on his picking hand is VERY lightly touching the string, and it "pinches" the other tones, silencing them.

I've seen Thiago play at least three diffirent JP signature guitars worth about 2500-3000 dollars each + all the sourrounding gear he uses. Either he comes from a rich family who supports him financially or he already has a sponsor, which is weird because the band is not yet established! So my question is very valid!
