Let's face it, doing these round the world trips on a noisy, polluting motorbike is not much of a challenge......its been done by thousands of people. My respect goes to the guys who do these epic round the world adventures on loaded up bicycles! Much more of a challenge and totally green!

Let's see ... there is the BMW GS,Suzuki V-Strom, Triumph Tiger, Buell Ulysses, Ducati Multistrada, Aprila Caponord, KTM Adventure S and others I'm sure I'm forgetting. Why the hell an R1? The fuel capacity, fuel grade, seating position and suspension inspire me to go around the block at best. Great trip but it pains me to see that moto. By the way, I think I met that guy at Daytona's bike week a year or so ago.
