@LeoDoorsMusic If you have trouble with it, just give it time! Keep working at it, a little bit at a time, and speed up gradually! There are some licks that I'm working on that I can't speed up to save my life, it'll happen eventually!

@emilde12 Playing singles, doubles, leading with the left, increase metronome speed gradually, stick control book, etc. Just use your left hand, and it will improve!

@LukeSnyderMusic Yeah i tried to understand how to do that for a long time... everytime i was close but i couldnt understand how many times i had to hit with the bass drum.. even now, i do it slow and it works, 4 with hands and 4 with feet, but when i try it faster (like you do at the beginning) it seems to be a completely different lick.. are you sure when you do it at 0:01 you do 4 times snare and bass drum? To me it seems like 3 hits... still i can't figure it out how to do it faster.. :(

@fkthlf Yup! Its four, the last note just winds up being quieter, because I can't quite play them consistently. I still need work on them, haha. Once they speed up, the technique does change. You're essentially playing quick 4 stroke rolls.

@IAmTheTreeJesus7 Dude, thats just a Wuhan 18" under a 10" splash! Its killer, you can put together a stack like that for under $100 :D I'm a huge fan of Wuhans now, its just a matter of finding a good one ;) Trial and error!

You should mention different modulations of this hand-foot combination principle, because it's definitely a fun idea to mess around with. Like 4 16ths with the hands followed by 2 16ths on the feet turns the fill into a triplet feel. Or simply halving both the hands and feet, so basically doing Quads and alternating with this fill, or just throwing in random 4's on either the hands or feet to change the feel up. It's really unlimited, but it's still really fun and really easy.

you can also do two on the hands and two on the feet, if you like the faster tumbling effect it gives, good lesson great fill to learn, very fun to play, can can really be used in any hard kind of music
