Aftershocks - Christchurch - June 13th after 2nd big shake

Although it's been a while since I experienced a big Quake it's these type of aftershocks I hate. You start getting used to them, expecting them to be small and I would sit there and think 'here we go again, can I be bothered to get up?' and it would be over. Then you get one like the one at 0:37 and you're back into full 'shit your pants' mode where your heart won't stop racing and you jump at every rattle... I'm just glad I don't live on a major fault anymore...

You poor people. I have only experienced one minor aftershock while waiting for a connecting flight out of Chch, and that was bad enough. It was short and sharp and noisy just like these three.

the june one measured 6.4 i didnt feel it as much because me and my mom were coming back from school because after the 5.6 they told us to go home and it happened when we were on the road. But when we came home you could feel the aftershocks straight away !!!! i hated them i cried in every single one THEY SCARE ME TOO DEATH :(

these are how most of the smaller quakes in CA go down....i havent felt a big enough quake yet that really shook back and forth a lot....most are just loud rumbles and jolts

this shake was very on off then just shook you like you were in a jar
