Some of the greatest wrestlers of all time like Owen, Piper and Hennig have really great legacies without having to win a world title. I definitely feel like Zack has the potential to make the same kind of mark in the mid-card scene, but only if he's on SD. Raw's mid-card scene has been very lackluster ever since the very first brand extension and will do nothing for him.

I love Zack Ryder but even if I didn't I would have no problem with his push. He wasn't getting that much offense in and Cena was hesitant to tag him in because (kayfabe) Ryder is not ready. It was just to test his overness and more importantly showed the company believes in him.

To the guy in the beginning that said putting Ryder in there ruined the SS match: Cena has beat Miz&Troof twice on his own, so it's been established the only way Miz&Troof can win is by Rock and Cena shenanigans.

hey jay what about john morrison. He defeated the us champ this monday on raw & broke a 3 month losing streak in the process. He isnt booked for any WWE events pass December 1st, and I think his contract is supposed to expire in 2 or 3 months and when it does possibly might not re-sign with WWE. JoMO is one of my favorite wrestlers in WWE i don t want him to leave WWE. Because despite his horrible mic skills he coulde still go far as a WWE champion or any championship in WWE.

I don't think Ryder is being pushed too fast. Just don't put him in the main event yet. He needs a new gimmick and a few more years of seasoning before that happens. But he's cool in the US Title picture.

I agree, except for the part where he can't be a main event. I think Ryder can be a main event maybe not the WWE championship main event but just a regular match like on Raw. Being WWE Champion probably not with the gimick but like you guys said tag team, Intercontinental, or US Champion I can see him as one of those champion. I mean if his gimmick can be kind of like Chris Jericho's where he made jokes but could still be taken seriously that would be great I could see him as WWE Champion.

Too fast? We've been waiting for a Zack Ryder push for over a year now. Putting Ryder in the main event of RAW was WWE's way of showing the fans that they do listen. Well WWE really need to balance the RAW and Smackdown rosters again, then make WWE Superstars a 2 hour show like RAW and Smackdown and put it back on telly. This way Raw superstars can stay on their own show and smackdown superstars stay on their own show whiles superstars has that mixture which will make it unique!

Zack Ryder is talented in the ring and knows how market himself, He's a good mid card talent, He can be a solid mid card wrestler. I've been a Ryder fan since he was a Major Brother. He has this petition thing going but the US Title but the match is already made. If he wants to go to the next level he will need as gimmick change or a heel turn. He has charisma and that's good, But he can't do this his whole career. He's like Edge when he was in the mid card. Good in the ring, charisma, etc,

Look, being friends with a guy who has some pull gets you pushed. We've seen this with Sheamus and now we're seeing it with Zack Ryder. I always thought Ryder was at least a good worker. He got himself to the point where he was popular enough to get noticed and he did all that himself. Cena notices this and pushes for him to get a chance. Now Ryder's current character will not get him in the main event, but in a couple of years, if handled right, Ryder is gonna be huge.
