@musikTECH purchasing a ticket and entering into a venue such as Seaworld binds you to the rules of said park, by not adhering to these rules you are then liable for any damage caused to any property or persons that you cause. I myself having worked in many parks throughout the world have witnessed the effects of people taking phones onto rides and dropping them. The person who received 130 stitches in their cheek from the dropped phone is now ok, no thanks to people who ignore rules.

Whenever I film anything on a ride, I always use a securely fastened wrist strap. This will ensure that even if the camera slips out of my grasp, it will NOT hit anyone/anything else. But having said that, and after filming countless thrill rides I've never ever lost my grip on the camera. I'm not the cause of these accidents you mentioned and never will be!

@DIMATIF Magnetic leviation is a system used in very fast trains (Maglev trains). You mean LSM (lineair synchronous motor), and the reason they didn't do that is that the track isn't built for it.. You can't just put a launch on it, the start of the hill would kill you, or the top would kill you.

Rumor is that it's currently being transformed into a new ride called "Sea Viper". I think they are painting it again and putting completely new trains on. I will confirm and shoot some footage of it next weekend when I'm down. =D
