That was bloody AMAZING! I had no idea this existed! WOW! So glad he did that for his fans, what a wonderful, wonderful man, what a talented and endearing actor! I always felt robbed that we never saw Victor's departure explained...this was wonderful...I always wanted him to live on! John's screams of Victor when he collapsed conveyed how I thought John should really feel about him, deep down, how much Victor meant to him. Just brilliant!
@pantpooer could not agree more with you. Even as a kid I knew a good episode was about to come on when Victor would look into that globe with the wires during the opening credits
This is a wonderful and moving tribute to Victor. Convention attendees actually saw this last year at a Barry Morse (Space:1999) con in Austin, Texas. A DVD of the video is also included in a book dedicated to the character of Victor Bergman. I'm glad to see it finally made it to You Tube. Thanks for posting, EmThreeBlog!
That actually did make me cry just a little bit. Ever so slightly. In fact.

Professor Bergman was the embodiment of what Space 1999 was originally meant to be. Science, mixed with wonder & Mythology.
Season 1 is the ONLY Space 1999 for me.
God rest Barry Morse.
