1. Why didn't he switch with Frieza? Because he was so loyal to him, did you see how he willingly delivered the dragonballs to Frieza when he didn't even know that a password was needed, he could have wished for immortality, but he gave them to Frieza instead.

Most likely he switched bodies with somebody else. I just can't see him having this saesome power and only using it once. Also he appeared as Ginyu (purple guy) in the anime after he escapes from probably for the viewer's sake. Imagine if we saw Ginyu as a little midget after he escaped from hell.

A Few things I always wonder about is if King Kai could sense Goku and the Ginyu Force on Namek and was able to warn Goku about Frieza why couldn't he warn him about Captain Ginyu and his body change ability?! That would really made things easier and that fucking bastard would of bit the dust!!! Damn it and another thing why Goku? and why show all of this when bulma thinks about Goku at that silly yet sweet scene? He's one if my favorite characters of DBZ next to Vegeta!!! Geez!!!!!

@originalarmo He only tried it once he realized Goku wasn't a fully developed Super Saiyan. Presumably the body freezing part of the move doesn't work if the power difference is too big- like when Chaotzu tried to paralyze Nappa.

IIRC the first time he tries it on Vegeta, Vegeta simply moves out of the way. He has to trick Vegeta into flying full speed directly at him.
