Stop saying that Kia and Hyundai are Copying ... maybe its hard to accept that their doing better and better.. but we have to accept the truth.. First, Kia is now with Peter Scheryer who worked with AUDI before and Designed A4 A6 TT and NewBeatle which means if u say Kia is a copycat, that means ur saying HE is a copycat. cuz he designed SOUL, NEW OPTIMA, NEW CADENZA and NEW SORENTO. Second, Hyunda now has their unique design pattern called "Fluidic Sculpture" so stop calling them a copy cat

@SecularTechnology Sonata copied MB CLS. You may think Optima is a copy cat because the Optima is a very basic car design with lots of style lines that are used in many cars, nowadays. Then, will you admit that many song writers who use same chord changes(with different notes) are copycats?

It looks like Honda Accord meets VW Jetta. Sort of cool and funky. But it has to lose the LED up front. Looks like a cheap after thought. I am very impressed with the interior and options available. What I don't understand is that you can get more options on this than the Sonata. Isn't kia supposed to be the cheaper more youthful brand, and hyundai more luxurious? Beats me...

Need good engineering to bring a drawing into reality. Kia engineers did a good job and Peter Schreyer now has engineers to highlight his true talent and vise verse. Peter's design at Audi was not exactly pretty, but this Kia is winning combo. Bring that Korea Guy who design the new Chevy Camero and now working as Chief Designer at VW to Kia; That would be winning combo for Kia.

Indeed that is because the formal Audi Designer Peter Schreyer is now chief Designer Officer in Kia. So that why it would Indeed look similar w audi. So No to copy cat KIA but Yes to Well spent money hiring them KIA. :)

YES Copt cat Kia. The side copied the Ford mondeo. The foglights are a copy of the Fusion, and the side vent copied tha Taurus. Kia is a copying pile of shit,.

it was a rental car and it had only 15,000 miles.. so we had to spend the rest of the day next to our death car instead of enjoying the trip.. just watch out for these cars

@818doodooroo rental cars=cheap cars and cheap cars = old old cars or atleast old versions.

Kia and Hyundai have changed the past few years and ofcourse experience influences decisions but dont think the new cars that are coming out are the same as the old ones. Plus now they both have the best warranty in the midsize sedan level with 10years/100,000 miles warranty
