I loved 'ol Josh's BS when he told the Sean he would no longer give TIV any storm data (including RADAR) but wanted the TIV to keep collecting data for VORTEX.
At some point there's gonna be a huge accident and someone's gonna be sued BIG TIME over it. Laws are already in the process of changing because of nonsense like this. Everyone with a yellow light thinks THEY should be there when really there are very few who should be there to start with. All these so-called "chasers" put their little yellow lights on their cars and drive around getting in the REAL crews' way when they need to just stay the hell home and leave it to the real deal.

I dont think there is a red or blue light on any of the vortex 2 vehicles so Im not pulling over for them they can wait just like the rest of us have to. And your right they have a Yellow Safety light on top so we can see them in bad weather not to pull over. Just like a tow truck its a caution light not an emergency light.
@ilrailfan I'd like to see them pull people over in my state. The troopers here will cite them, and if they continue resisting, they will be awarded with jail time and impounded vehicles to boot.
Watching multiple videos of the incident I must ask, how many Vortex trucks were jamming the road, by driving slow so their radar trucks could get a fix on the storm?. And Josh before you start blaming Sean, did you review discovery's video inside the TIV with Sean asking the driver to merge back into the correct lane? I bet you didn't, And since you are being nice to the feds Ask them to build you a TIV of your own out of the peferctly good but still Scrapped cars from Cash for Clunkers.

I remember the first two seasons of StormChasers and Josh CONSTANTLY mis-guiding Sean and the TIV and causing SO MANY missed Intercepts.. and then the FIRST YEAR Sean goes chasing WITHOUT Josh's help, SURPRISE, he gets an intercept!!! And now, year TWO without Josh, and ANOTHER intercept! Gee, something's working and I THINK it's the LACK of Josh that's helping.
Half of that traffic on the day of the TIV's "awful driving" is MOSTLY because of 40+ VORTEX 2 vehichles clogging up the road-ways and causing a MASSIVE, possibly life-threatening TRAFFIC JAM in the MIDDLE OF A TORNADO. Maybe when your soul-train of elitist assholes causes a loss of life in a similar fashion, all of that government funding will go BYE BYE and Storm Chasing will go back to where it should go- to small clusters of individuals getting the needed data to save lives.

It's funny how some locations they go to they have no problems and you see the locals letting them by.. Then you see other areas where it's full of other chasers and tour chasers with huge ego's doing no research that refuse to pull over.
