First off bane was introduced in Jan 93 in vengeance of bane and yes his name is Antonio Diego. I am a huge batman fan. I did get tickets to this form the operation early bird and had to work so i was disappointed i couldn't go. Even more disappointed they gave out t-shirts lol. I'm a batman collector and love rare items like that.

@booredatwork In the comic books his "real" name is unknown. He spends the majority of his life in prison and is simply known as Bane. As someone else said, check out Batman: Vengeance of Bane for his origin. Or just wikipedia. Although it's almost certain that the movie will take creative liberties and change his story a little.
