  • @williejenkins666 So Ludwig von Mises, the predictor of 2 depressions, was an idiot? Murray Rothbard and F.A. Hayek, the greatest economic minds of the 20th Century were idiots? Jefferson, Jackson, and JQ Adams, the 200 year old foreseers of our current problems were idiots? Ron Paul, who predicted every step of the way of the last 20 years is an idiot?

  • This is the only video of Mitt Romney's that I clicked like!

    RON PAUL 2012!

  • This is only one side of the story...He had many chances to sit down and talk to the unions...Its a lie about working composite....Simply a lie.

  • President bush was bad for us..but you elected him...Romney? Really...he couldn't stand up to president Obama..n a debate...again..everyone knows what's best for this country ...NOT....these sorry ass presidential runner ups...wearing diapers..Gingrich...left his wife during a critical time ..n now...Romney" I've been married to the same women 25 years .." so...wtf does that have to do with running this country ..o..I forgot..only whites can run this country ..that's what were used too...boooooo

  • @mfarrcut ... You are blind... Keynesian Economics (ARRA) has failed on multiple levels.... Only Austrian Economics can fix this country... George Soros, a man we should all have negative feelings towards, endorsed Obama and Romney... Obama and Romney are PARASITIC KEYNESIANS

  • I'm si tired of everyone blaming Obama..unemployment..7..8%...giving what he took from the president that you same Americans voted in for 8 years..but yet ..a black president get n office..probably..the smartest president we've ever had..America is washed up..nothings changed..Republicans are crooks...vultures ..n the only reason why were making commercials ..is because this man is black...period...

  • What does this "fair and balanced" report from the owner of a paving company in St. Louis have to do with the presidential campaign? Did Obama dictate the terms of the union contract? Did big bad Obama inflate that giant rat? We know Romney doesn't have anything to do with it; if he owned the company all the workers would get fired, the equipment sold, the company would go into bankruptcy, and Romney would walk away with another 50 million bucks.

  • Obama sides with these union animals?

  • Why do you think the US is is the mess were in, why is cost of living so high ? Unions that why...

  • @williejenkins666 U mad?

  • Welcome to the Barackalypse

  • @williejenkins666 keep sucking the kool aid

  • The signs and campaign against this company is probably actionable as defamatory with huge implications against those unions.

  • @williejenkins666 wow really, don’t we sound grown up? because i like someone in the republican party that isn’t the same as everyone else? that i know there is a real revolution going on, but no one can see it. the tea party took over in 2010, ron may not win in 2012, but his son is running in 2016 and will back him. if you look ^ there there are alot of us. and if you could see the world though our eyes, your the ignorant fool. we are just trying to help you. don’t want it, look past it

  • It's time to outlaw unions completely. In fact that time came decades ago. Given the choice I would always hire a non-union company to do the job. Pure scum.

  • Fuck Union scumbags

  • this is why we have the term "union thugs"

  • @CattailsandRoses given the choice, I'd take "union thugs" over vulture capitalists every single time.

  • @mistergarth Union thugs are more like vulture socialists.

  • I take a stand against this administration and these kind of bullies everyday and will till I can't stand no more. It's time we all did and only than can we make a difference." A dream you dream alone is only a dream, a dream you dream together is reality "

  • I'm another Missourian for Romney!

  • This video makes me sick every time I see it, if a union can't get it's way they try to destroy the company, they take money away from the workers only to put it into their own pocket, shouldn't we all have the right to decide if we want to be apart of a union if unions are so great why are we forced to join. MO stand up for your RIGHT TO WORK, and let's make MO a Right To Work State

  • Unions are a scam, I know I worked for one all they do is take your money, they are not for the people they are only for themselves, yes I live in MO and I would like to see MO become a right to work state, our neighbor state KS is a right to work state and guess what that's where the jobs are, Unions kill the economy. Unions are bad for business and Obama is bad for the U.S.

  • If the CEO of a successful business is doing right by their people, then yes no union is ok, But lets get real, greedy CEO just want more and more. Take the CEO of Verizon, in 1970 the CEO made 10 times more then the average worker, in 2011 he now makes over 300 time more. the company make billions in profits yet the CEO wants to take back everything from the workers that built the plant and the union is not asking for anything more just keep it the same.

  • No unions in SC,Vote for the Constitution with Ron Paul for President!

  • I know that Unions once had a purpose.

However, I have never seen a Union that added anything of value.

Its a big waste. They push the unions to stuff their pockets.

I have seen a union totally rape a pension fund leaving their workers with frozen benefits and everyone associated with a major crisis. Guys who worked 30 years retired on almost nothing.

  • FUBO u p.o.s. SCUMBAG

  • This is so much bull.

It's like fighting with the starving child about whether it's a good thing to try to feed them. You can see the faux news style propaganda all over it.

  • Unions and all of the regulations are why we have lost so many factorys. People, wake up and smell the roses.

If not you better learn to speak Chinese or Mandanese

  • Simple supply and demand,if you choose to be a broom pusher with no skills or education then you have no right to expect 100K per year.

  • Unions are NOT the only answer, but they serve their purpose..... I am a union member and I can tell you that the company I work for wouldnt find anything at all wrong with paying me 2 bucks an hour if they could get away with it. I get a fair wage because of negotiations..... I believe in capitalism. But only under the rule of law with common sense and oversight. Not the political favoritism we have now and our "Ebay congress".

  • 72 people are Marxists.

  • Thank God for men like Paul Munsch. We have your back!

  • For the sake of our union Obama must be defeated. But as proven by the recent election held in Ohio, where voters overwhelmingly defeated Gov Kasich's (whom I support but not on this issue) plan to scrap binding arbitration and deny public workers the ability to negotiate pensions and health care benefits...that an all out attack on unions is not the way to go for the Republican party or any candidate they run for POTUS.

  • I'm not against unions...I wouldn't have wanted to work on my law enforcement job without the protections of my "constitutional rights" and other benefits that they acquired for me. I am against UNION GOONS like the ones portrayed in this piece and corrupt UNION BOSSES like the many that have been exposed and jailed over the years and continue to be exposed to this day.

  • Oh my god this video opened up my eyes that unions are terrible because they want better working conditions. OH MY GOD SAVE THE CHILDREN FROM MINIMUM WAGE AND CORPORATE RESTRICTIONS!!!

  • Union scum!!

  • St. Louis must treat their employees so rotten that they are standing by him even through the harrassment! Folks, all the unions want to do is take away your choices and fund their political endeavors and line their pockets!

  • These union slobs operate like the mafia. Rather than out earning a living, these bums are paid to bully the private sector. Screw em!

  • ROMNEY and OBAMA are paid for by the SAME bailout banks...Ron Paul supported by U.S. Navy/Army/Air Force:

    [ h*t*t*p*:*/*/* ] seanonymous.hubpages.com/hub/Who-Funds-The-2012-US-Presidential-Election

  • Tells it like it is. Unions are dying and so they have to resort to these kinds of tactics. Ironic that greedy, parasituc union bosses label the business owner as the rat. What a joke!

  • Despicable behavior of them union workers! The constitution says you have the right to contract with whom you chose! That union should be sued for defamation of his business. It is his right to run his business as he see's fit!!

  • Romney gave a 15-minute address before a few dozen veterans on board the USS Yorktown, which has been decommissioned and is now a floating museum. He is not the first White House aspirant to use the ship as a backdrop. Another Massachusetts politician, Sen. John Kerry (D), officially launched his 2004 presidential campaign with a speech in front of the USS Yorktown.

  • “We all recognize that America needs to economize, but I don’t believe that we can economize on securing our nation and protecting our citizens and ensuring that the world remains safe and free for us and for our children,” said Romney, a former Massachusetts governor and businessman.

  • On Saturday morning, Romney returned to Mackinac with Ann, that sweetheart who became his wife, to inject some new momentum into his 2012 presidential campaign.

  • Mackinac Island was the playground of Romney’s youth, which he recalled as he reminisced aboard the ferry. It’s where he learned to water-ski, ate lots of fudge, rode around on bicycles and horses and took his high-school sweetheart on a date celebrating her 16th birthday.

  • RON PAUL!

  • @asg102 Ron Paul supporters are jumping ship to ride the Perry express. Don't be the last one.

  • @omiolo You are full of it, omiolo, plain and simple -- just like Rick Perry. It's sad. No-one is jumping ship, you are kidding only yourself. Get a new line of lies because that one is worn out and broken.

    RON PAUL 2012

  • A steakhouse chain, Texas Roadhouse, was being picketed. When we were eating our dinner a waiter was asked why they were picketing. Turns out Texas Roadhouse has a non-union construction company that travels to their new locations and builds their restaurants. The place had already been in business for over a year! The waiter said he told them "it's built why don't you go home?" The union picketer responded by challenging him to a fight! They still picket Family Dollar over 2009 remodeling.

  • I worked for this company and it's true. The union are scumbags.

  • Mitt Romney: more of the same.

You want real growth; real change; real hope? There's only one... you know who. RON PAUL 2012.

  • @durashka123 The ONLY thing Ron Paul has on his resume is REAL TALK! He talks a lot. If he was serious, he should run for Governor, SHOW us what he can do INSTEAD of telling us.

  • @omiolo Why would Ron Paul run for Governor when he is going to be President?

  • That's bogus what they do if you don't go union.. I see the rat all over the place and never truly understood what they were doing. I do construction. I wouldn't want anyone slandering my business like that. Good video, but I still support Ron Paul 2012!

  • Let's send Ron Paul to the retirement home - MITT ROMNEY 2012!!!!

  • Excellent display of a biased video against unions.

  • Excellent Video

  • Ron Paul REVOLUTION give us back our CONSTITUTION!

  • Oewbama 2012!! Love from UK

  • The former Massachusetts governor is trailing behind front-runner Rick Perry, the Texas governor who leads the field of eight candidates battling to win the Republican nomination and a chance to unseat Obama next year.

"What's wrong in America right now is not going to be cured by a little cup of gasoline on the fire," Romney said.

  • "I am devoted to making America the most attractive place in the world for business, for jobs to grow, for incomes to grow," he said.

Romney also took a swipe at what he described as Democratic President Barack Obama's failure to achieve economic recovery through stimulus spending.

  • And sorrily, he has hit on one of the big reasons why unions have all but disappeared. Every job can only be done by just one union member which leads to higher costs, longer delays, and a wasteful use of funding.

  • Don't be a pawn or lamestream media. Ron Paul or bust.

  • @krashteste "Ron Paul or bust."

Apparently the Ron Paul voters must think BUST means Rick Perry because that is where MOST of them are headed. Do NOT be the last one.

  • @omiolo you are the status quo my friend and no Ron Paul supporter would ever make an uniformed choice to follow a pawn like Rick Perry. Ask questions, study history, learn economics and soon you will realize who is the only candidate that speaks the truth.

  • Vote ron paul, he will cutt spending, stop our wars, and is not a cartoon character like obama, bush, and romney.

  • @fightttttt ron paul is still alive?

  • DO WE WANT A POLYGAMIST AS OUR PRESIDENT???

  • Romney's holding a roundtable Wednesday at an auto dealership in Tucson and a town hall meeting in Sun Lakes.

While states that break RNC rules may face penalties at the 2012 convention, it's really the candidates who will decide whether or not unsanctioned early primaries like Arizona's are legitimate.

  • Mitt Romney will become the first 2012 candidate to appear in Arizona after the state announced it will hold an early, RNC rule-breaking primary on Feb. 28.

  • ..... Even with the Reagan defense buildup, which won the Cold War without firing a shot, total federal spending declined from a high of 23.5% of GDP in 1983 to 21.3% in 1988 and 21.2% in 1989. That’s a real reduction in the size of government relative to the economy of 10%.

  • ++ 2. Spending reductions, including a $31 billion cut in spending in 1981, close to 5% of the federal budget then, or the equivalent of about $175 billion in spending cuts for the year today. In constant dollars, nondefense discretionary spending declined by 14.4% from 1981 to 1982, and by 16.8% from 1981 to 1983. Moreover, in constant dollars, this nondefense discretionary spending never returned to its 1981 level for the rest of Reagan’s two terms! .....

  • ++ President Reagan campaigned on an explicitly articulated, four-point economic program to reverse this slow motion collapse of the American economy:

    1. Cut tax rates to restore incentives for economic growth, which was implemented first with a reduction in the top income tax rate of 70% down to 50%, and then a 25% across-the-board reduction in income tax rates for everyone. The 1986 tax reform then reduced tax rates further, leaving just two rates, 28% and 15%.

  • ++++++++++ All of the above was accompanied by double -igit interest rates, with the prime rate peaking at 21.5% in 1980. The poverty rate started increasing in 1978, eventually climbing by an astounding 33%, from 11.4% to 15.2%. A fall in real median family income that began in 1978 snowballed to a decline of almost 10% by 1982. In addition, from 1968 to 1982, the Dow Jones industrial average lost 70% of its real value, reflecting an overall collapse of stocks.

  • I think we have to remember that Romney made money getting rid of American jobs. Now people want to elect him because they think he will get them jobs? LMAO

Let's interview some of the ex employees of the companies Mittens downsized, asset-stripped and oversea-d when he was doing his magic as a vulture capitalist.

  • @rocky19421 Obama is a failure.

  • @POPCANA I respectfully disagree.

Obama walked into a worsening economy and has done everything he can to make it better. Remember the adage about turning the ship? The ship not only had to be turned around, but it was also half under water. It takes a while.

We could have already been out of this recession if the Republicans hadn't blocked him at every turn... they have admitted that they simply want to bring the President down.

    PART !

  • @rocky19421 When Reagan entered he faced much worse economic problems than President Obama faced in 2009.

    Here are the facts:

  • - Three worsening recessions starting in 1969 were about to culminate in the worst of all in 1981-1982

    - along with unemployment soaring into double digits at a peak of 10.8%

-At the same time America suffered roaring double-digit inflation

-with the CPI registering at 11.3% in 1979 and 13.5% in 1980 (25% in two years).

  • @POPCANA Any President following the bushwhacked years would have had the same legacy and faced the same challenges as President Obama. And your expectations that anyone could "fix" W's "accomplishments" in 2 1/2 years is naive. Don't forget W's "accomplishments" affected the economies worldwide, not just our Nation's economy.

    PART 2

  • @rocky19421 By every statistical measure the Reagan recovery outshines Obama's

  • @POPCANA PART 1

The numbers are clear. You are in opposite world. I can give you links to the numbers, but I doubt if you care about finding out the facts.

Reagan took unemployment and the deficit THROUGH THE ROOF not to mention putting us into the worst reccession since the great depression. Obama numbers are all FAR FAR better than Reagans at this point.

Reagan was one of the worst things to ever happen to this country.

    CONT.

  • @POPCANA PART 2

I swear, Mitt Romney's getting goofier by the day, with soundbites that sound more like something out of Michele Bachmann's playbook than anything he might actually believe in. Nothing specific or grounded in reality in terms of fixing the economy, just more of the same old "lowering corporate taxes and deregulation" crap (and what the hell are Job Machines ?), all of which got the country to where it is now. Who are the people applauding this empty rhetoric ?

  • @POPCANA PART 3

And whose picking the Candidates that appear at these debates? The Kochs?

I don't understand how it is that Herman Cain gets to participate and not Buddy Roemer, perhaps the only voice of reason and true patriotism within the GOP. His Executive, Legislative, and Private Sector experience make him perhaps the most qualified candidate running, and he's the one person who could take all these Special Interest puppets to task - hmmm, I guess I just answered my own question.

  • @rocky19421

++ 3. Anti-inflation monetary policy restraining money supply growth compared to demand, to maintain a stronger, more stable dollar value.

    4. Deregulation, which saved consumers an estimated $100 billion per year in lower prices. Reagan’s first executive order, in fact, eliminated price controls on oil and natural gas. Production soared, and aided by a strong dollar the price of oil declined by more than 50%.

  • ++ These economic policies amounted to the most successful economic experiment in world history. The Reagan recovery started in official records in November 1982, and lasted 92 months without a recession until July 1990, when the tax increases of the 1990 budget deal killed it. This set a new record for the longest peacetime expansion ever, the previous high in peacetime being 58 months.

  • @rocky19421

++ During this seven-year recovery, the economy grew by almost one-third, the equivalent of adding the entire economy of West Germany, the third-largest in the world at the time, to the U.S. economy. In 1984 alone real economic growth boomed by 6.8%, the highest in 50 years. Nearly 20 million new jobs were created during the recovery, increasing U.S. civilian employment by almost 20%. Unemployment fell to 5.3% by 1989.

  • @rocky19421+++ In The End of Prosperity, supply side guru Art Laffer and Wall Street Journal chief financial writer Steve Moore point out that this Reagan recovery grew into a 25-year boom, with just slight interruptions by shallow, short recessions in 1990 and 2001. They wrote:

  • @rocky19421 ++ “We call this period, 1982-2007, the twenty-five year boom–the greatest period of wealth creation in the history of the planet. In 1980, the net worth–assets minus liabilities–of all U.S. households and business … was $25 trillion in today’s dollars. By 2007, … net worth was just shy of $57 trillion. Adjusting for inflation, more wealth was created in America in the twenty-five year boom than in the previous two hundred years."

  • @rocky19421 ++ What is so striking about Obamanomics is how it so doggedly pursues the opposite of every one of these planks of Reaganomics. Instead of reducing tax rates, President Obama is committed to raising the top tax rates of virtually every major federal tax. As already enacted into current law, in 2013 the top two income tax rates will rise by nearly 20%, counting as well Obama’s proposed deduction phase-outs.

  • @rocky19421 ++ The capital gains tax rate will soar by nearly 60%, counting the new Obamacare taxes going into effect that year. The total tax rate on corporate dividends would increase by nearly three times. The Medicare payroll tax would increase by 62% for the nation’s job creators and investors. The death tax rate would go back up to 55%. In his 2012 budget and his recent national budget speech, President Obama proposes still more tax increases.+++++++++++++ ++++++++++++++++++++

  • @rocky19421

The shocking rise in inflation during the Nixon and Carter years was reversed. Astoundingly, inflation from 1980 was reduced by more than half by 1982, to 6.2%. It was cut in half again for 1983, to 3.2%, never to be heard from again until recently. The contractionary, tight-money policies needed to kill this inflation inexorably created the steep recession of 1981 to 1982, which is why Reagan did not suffer politically catastrophic blame for that recession.

  • @POPCANA +++Real per-capita disposable income increased by 18% from 1982 to 1989, meaning the American standard of living increased by almost 20% in just seven years. The poverty rate declined every year from 1984 to 1989, dropping by one-sixth from its peak. The stock market more than tripled in value from 1980 to 1990, a larger increase than in any previous decade.

  • Mitt, why is everyone of your videos about Obama? What about you?

  • Ron Paul,kthnxbai.

  • Ron Paul

  • It is scary, these organized unions. Sad to think that they have enough money to pay for billboards and men to picket and harass but the American worker continues to suffer. JOBS JOBS JOBS.

  • Ron Paul.

  • Let me just set the record straight if he is'nt working nobody

    will work.

  • Great video!

  • I see the same outrageous comments on every video about the current political situation. Apparently the GOP has employed internet trolls to try and get some of the independent vote. Outside of youtube comments however most people think the GOP candidates are tools. Only on the internet, with the conspiracy theorists, does ron paul have any support haha. A union is collective bargaining rights in a workplace. Only a CEO would dislike a union because a union would make worker rights mandatory.

  • Obama's love of union thugs is a good reason not to vote for Obama, but I don't see how this convinces us to vote for Mr. Romneycare.

  • @blogegog ABO = ANYONE BUT OBAMA.

  • @omiolo Don't be silly. Half of the candidates will give you the exact same result as Obama. Actually more than half. Ron Paul 2012!

  • @umbroog "Half of the candidates will give you the exact same result as Obama"

NOBODY can be that bad. The problem with Ron Paul is that ALL we get from him is TALK. Sure I like his talk, but I liked Obama's talk too. If Ron Paul was serious, he would run for Governor of Texas, show us instead of tell us

  • @omiolo Only talk? Why don't you use all of his years in congress as an example for his beliefs? Or his years in the military or medical field? Comparing Ron Paul's talk to Obama's isn't really reasonable.

  • @umbroog "Why don't you use all of his years in congress as an example for his beliefs?"

ONLY questions NO answers. ONLY talk NO action.

  • @omiolo The problem is that he's been talking the same talk for 30 years and YOU DON'T LISTEN!

  • @josh1492 ***Fox news told me that unions***

    Liar.

Since when do libs watch Fox?

  • Romney is the man!

  • @josh1492 ***do you guys know what socialism is? It is free food, water, shelter and social programs***

You left out the concentration camps.

  • @byroninwahroonga Democrats are not socialists...and concentration camps are for conspiracy theory nuts. You guys are social outcasts because you are wrong. Its not that everyone is wrong, including all experts and educated people, and you are right...you guys really are a full 10 miles from anything logical. You are so dense that light bends around you.

  • @josh1492 ***Democrats are not socialists***

Hey, nutjob - food and shelter are not 'free.' The long suffering US taxpayer provides them to you and the parasite class, under coercion.

  • @byroninwahroonga lol...you really dont understand anything. stop messaging me haha

  • @josh1492 ***you really dont understand***

He! You fold like a wet handkerchief, kid.

  • I requested speed bumps installed in the alleys where we live because of speeding cars. The request was granted. I couldn't ubelieve what I saw when the men arrived to install the bumps. One man drove the truck, one man layed the forms, one man pulled the lever that released the hot tar, one man formed the hump. As one man did his job the others stood around joking and smoking. I called the city and asked why it took 5 men to do a 2 man job. the reason. They were all in different unions.

  • @b2tama So get rid of the damn unions. They've out lived their usefulness.

  • thanks for being willing to tell the truth! Mitt Romney 2012!

  • "Organize our workers" yeah, right. Organize so that Obama can get his hand in it! Unions are not 'protecting' you-- they're only protecting their cut of your pay. Have ya noticed how Unions have become more and more like bad Mafia movies, with characters like Don Trumka, Don Hoffa, and the typical corrupt politicians? Well, surely, you've noticed how our Jobs and Manufacturing have fled America's borders to countries... without Unions?

    Eliot Ness 2012

  • Unions served their purpose in the early days of the industrial revolution, but now they're just organizations where thuggish people can get together and legally intimidate people. Kudos to the workers at St. Louis Paving for standing up for what's right instead of giving in and joining these bullies. It's time to put an end to union thuggery.

Still wont be voting Romney in the primaries. ;)

  • This is creepy but clearly it is nothing more than 'organized' crime. He said it best it is simply a schoolyard bully pressuring the average joe working into getting his lunch money.

  • Don't hire scabs. Someone needs to take the SOB's out, to the ballgame and leave thenm there. Rick Perry is a bloody puss filled scab.

  • Say, what? What are you accusing Obama of, exactly? Saying vaguely pro-union things once in a while? Personally intervening to keep truck drivers at one company in St. Louis from using shovels? Making vague unspecified payoffs to somebody somewhere for something?

Yes, Mitt, we know you hate American workers. We get it. But who is supposed to be convinced of what by this lame video?

  • @josh1492 Unions should be regulated to not be able to contribute to any political party just like non profits. It's tax payer money and it's flat out criminal.

  • Ron Paul has the answers. It's cut out all of these corrupt thieves and PUT PUNISHMENT TO THIS TYPE OF TERRORISM. MINIMUM SENTENCES ON THESE CRIMES SHOULD BE 10 YRS IN PRISON. RON PAUL 2012 BABY. Who would ever hire a union in the private sector? hahahaha spare me. Only corrupt government jobs can afford unions. GOvernment uses unions cause taxpayers pay for it. Private companies could never afford that type of nonsense. THE RICH TOTALLY OUT OF TOUCH WITH AMERICANS.

  • Comment removed

  • Romney 2012

  • Any company that succumbs to the pressure to unionize is burdened with an expense that has nothing to do with making a successful company. Unions are like a parasite that feeds off the host and most importantly feeds employee money to the Democrat party. Corruption pure and simple. Unions need to be drained of money and support.

  • The problem is that Obama relies on Unions and union workers to get out the vote. He in turns back rules and legislation that greatly benefits the unions. Take the auto bailout for instance. He has union officials visit the White House but turns a blind eye when they make incendiary remarks such as Hoffa made against the Tea Party.

  • Gasp - not an inflatable rat!! LOL

Unless the actions of the union were suddenly made legal under Obama (they were NOT) then what the hell does Obama have to do with this man's gripes?? Complete illogical bull.

    <
