I have a 54 MBPS connection, but since my family has like 4 laptops and they think they always need to have those laptops and their phones connected to wifi, I max at 12 mbps up and 5 mbps down. Also if you live in a big apartment building you could try changing the channel of your router since if it's default most people in that building will be clogging it up.

I totally agree with you on the state of the game. I find it a lot of fun and I really don't care if people say it is pretty much just MW2. Its a fun game and if you don't enjoy it....don't play it. Quite simple.
this game is really bad. i always play kill confirmed and ever1 has either a sniper or fmg akimbo. i run out of ammo and there is no gun to pick up. most players dont even pick up the tags, they go for the kills, whats the point its kill confirmed pick up the tags. played black ops headquaters and it was brilliant. easy to kill any1 in final stand in black ops. infinity ward sucks, this game could be brilliant. last infinity ward game i buy.

Woody I felt the same way with Black Ops... weird... I remember firing an entire clip of my FAMAS and killing like... 4 to 5 people sometimes! In this game with the P90 I can kill MAYBE 2 or 3 AT MAX...
Every time I run into someone using final stand I get screwed over.. I usually use all of my bullets during the time where their falling into final stand since their invincible and when it's actually possible to kill them I have to reload allowing the final stander to kill me..
MW3 is a pile of shit. it's the worst CoD game I have ever had the mis-pleasure of playing (I have played every single CoD inc. spin-offs). At this moment, I couldn't give a damn about what this "CoD 9" is. I also don't care for BF3 so I'm not a fanboy.

Personally i've loved MW3 simply because I am ALWAYS on a 4 bar, either that or host. When it's searching and says <50 ping, <75 ping, or <100 ping you should never settle for the 75 or the 100, just back out of queue until you hit a <50 ping lobby.
"Revenge spawns" happen to me a lot -- either that, or spawning right in front of an enemy, or between two enemies, and dying immediately. My hit detection is also terrible. I can shoot somebody right in the chest, put half a clip or more into them, and they don't go down (it's extremely rare that I'm the one with amazing hit detection). Last time I had good hit detection, I went 29-5. Otherwise, I'm struggling with a positive K/D. Thinking of just going back to MW2 or Black Ops.

the previous 2 modern warfare's have revolutionised the cod series to a massive extent but Black Ops and MW3 have only tweaked it in comparison so I lose interest in MW3 quicker than MW2

I must say, I have a good connection. I know this, I have paid for this...why am I to be punished? My first thought was that I was doing something sooo wrong on mw3 that I went back to Black Ops and my very first game in almost three months I go 5:1. This proves I can handle the recoil, the sensitivity I play and the iron sights. Those were my thoughts on why I was doing so awfully. After my bo playing I go back to mw3 and do almost as miserable as before, I miss my 2:1 games on modern warfare
This is easily the best CoD thats been released. The fun to use guns of MW2 but without the noobtub bs and the balance of black ops without boring me to tears and the lag compensation is the best addition yet. I feel like a lot of the people bitching about the lag compensation are the ones with amazing internet connections that are now getting their shit pushed in because they no longer have the >10 ping advantage.

The hit detection is very random i think its cuz of lag (i get 2~3 bars)
but i shot someone dead close with the spas-12 with the range proefficiency
and i get a hit marker .....in another scenario i got a 1 vs 5 clutch same class
none of them were 100% on target and about 2~3 were long shots

Every time I run into someone using final stand I get screwed over.. I usually use all of my bullets during the time where their falling into final stand since their invincible and when it's actually possible to kill them I have to reload allowing the final stander to kill me..

Personally i've loved MW3 simply because I am ALWAYS on a 4 bar, either that or host. When it's searching and says <50 ping, <75 ping, or <100 ping you should never settle for the 75 or the 100, just back out of queue until you hit a <50 ping lobby.

"Revenge spawns" happen to me a lot -- either that, or spawning right in front of an enemy, or between two enemies, and dying immediately. My hit detection is also terrible. I can shoot somebody right in the chest, put half a clip or more into them, and they don't go down (it's extremely rare that I'm the one with amazing hit detection). Last time I had good hit detection, I went 29-5. Otherwise, I'm struggling with a positive K/D. Thinking of just going back to MW2 or Black Ops.

people...come on..mw3 is fuckin awesome..they did almost everything right.of course the people who play it are pathetic,cheap whores..but thats another story..bottom line is.the game runs smoothly,the maps work and its just a lot of fun(coupled with incredible frustration of course)but because of the players,not the game.all they have to do now is re-patch fmgs,type95,add recoil to the acr and remove knife lounging(or better yet,put melee out of the game)fuck you panic knifing pussies!

Its not what its supposed to be used for. Just like Ghost in Black Ops. You werent supposed to camp with it, you were supposed to run around with it.

I must say, I have a good connection. I know this, I have paid for this...why am I to be punished? My first thought was that I was doing something sooo wrong on mw3 that I went back to Black Ops and my very first game in almost three months I go 5:1. This proves I can handle the recoil, the sensitivity I play and the iron sights. Those were my thoughts on why I was doing so awfully. After my bo playing I go back to mw3 and do almost as miserable as before, I miss my 2:1 games on modern warfare

This is easily the best CoD thats been released. The fun to use guns of MW2 but without the noobtub bs and the balance of black ops without boring me to tears and the lag compensation is the best addition yet. I feel like a lot of the people bitching about the lag compensation are the ones with amazing internet connections that are now getting their shit pushed in because they no longer have the >10 ping advantage.
