My friend founded this rescue. Her heart was in it to the max. She passed away last year and is so very much missed. Many of these dogs came straight to me, before going to a proper foster or permanent home. They have touched my heart also. Dogs are so loving, full of lifee too.. Its really sad to know people out there, are abusing these harmless animals, but some are agressive, it's not their fault, raise them with the right attention , love, care and compasion.. and they will be the most lovable dog in the world... Some dogs are even abandoned because they arent cutee small puppys anymore.. Its sickening.. Dogs arent just a 'trend' , they are family, and family is for life... right?

I canèt believe anyone would do this to any animal especially Golden Retrievers because there so beautiful! I got my golden retriever from a person who breed her dog just because she was told she would be better if she had puppies before she got fixed because of her age. And the owner almost took my golden to the pound to have her euthenisied! I would have died! I love my baby more then anything! She is everything to me! All you have to do is read comments under Golden vids to know how Goldens positely affect their owners lives. Always positive comments from the Golden owners. Goldens make their people better...and kinder.

I useto have a Golden Retriever I got for free by my uncle but...he died when I was in 3rd grd. =[ it's sad I am still sad because he would stay downstairs because he was so old we couldnt train him not to pee in the house so he had to be downstairs and when it was raining i would have to go there to cheer him up for a few mins. love the video! i rescued a 3 month old golden a few months ago and i can honestly say he is the best dog ive ever had. Having had a couple labs in the past, they were also amazing dogs but i think im stuck on goldens now and will always adopt from a rescue from now on!
GGRLC do the greatest thing in the world to rescue and save a bunch of golden retriever to find their home and don't stop doing it.i wish my country have organization like this.
My golden is 5 years old and he makes me smile at least 10 times a day. I got him when he was 6 months old and had already been severely abused. It took a lot of work and patience at the beginning but it was worth every minute. Thank you for the video and all your hard work.

Golden retrievers are the most lovely kind of dog we adopted two Rufino and Gala both very close to death, now they live happy and give us lots of precious moments.
We've had our Golden baby girl, Lady, going on 13 years. She's beautiful, smart, loving and eyes that penetrate into your soul. We lost our baby boy, Black Lab, Tramp, her mate, this past April. I don't know what I'd do without her!
My Odin has been a Godsend to my mental health. I have been his "Daddy" since he was 7 weeks old. But now, knowing him and his brethren for almost a decade, I would not hesitate to bring an older GR into my home.

goldens are VERY smart dogs if you know how to love... ive had a golden for 13 years he just passed away about a month ago... =(.. but yes they are very much like labs... but today we are getting a new german shepherd/lab mix after i get my cavity filled.. makes it that much better!!!
I have two from rescue and I just learned I'm going to lose one to cancer. They give so much. I've loved and lost before but every time it's a deep hurt. Still, I know I'll rescue another and fall in love again, if I live long enough. I love Goldens!

I have 14 Goldens including 5 rescues.They are all indoor dogs and all adored. They are the most wonderful breed in the world and I couldn't live without them. We lost our beloved Golden, Buckley, two months ago to diabetes at age 12. We decided he would have wished us to save another Golden, and we found Bo at our local animal shelter. Undernourished, ear and eye infections, fungal skin infection. In just one month, with good nutrition, meds, vitamins and loads of love, he is a beautiful guy. So loving and sweet. Buckley would be proud. Thank you for saving these wonderful dogs. They are the best!!!
I just don't understand how anyone can injure a golden. My 2 are both rescue runaway's. They both came to us trained. They are 8 and 12. Best dogs I ever ever had the pleasure of being owned by. Notice I say owned by. They own me. LOL!

Pups are cute but older dogs need homes too. An older dog finding itself in a shelter is bewildered, depressed and upset. Take them into your home and they'll be grateful forever.

Keep up the great rescue work!!!! Thanks for all you do! I can't have dogs where I live.....but a friend of mine does Golden rescue in Los Angeles and I get the pleasure of occasionally babysitting her 3 beautiful Goldens.

Golden retrievers are the most lovely kind of dog we adopted two Rufino and Gala both very close to death, now they live happy and give us lots of precious moments.

miss my babe so much. had a G-R female too when i was younger. im grateful for every moment we had. my little sister :)
all i can do at the moment, caused of my fulltime job, is spending some hours a week & for going walkies with dogs out the animals' home.
dont know why, but i think i owe this to these adorable animals.
wunderful video. touched my heart and this is really rare on youtube.

We've had our Golden baby girl, Lady, going on 13 years. She's beautiful, smart, loving and eyes that penetrate into your soul. We lost our baby boy, Black Lab, Tramp, her mate, this past April. I don't know what I'd do without her!

My Odin has been a Godsend to my mental health. I have been his "Daddy" since he was 7 weeks old. But now, knowing him and his brethren for almost a decade, I would not hesitate to bring an older GR into my home.

It is so sad to think that people can be mean to these wonderful dogs. My family and I use to help the Atlanta Golden Retriever Rescue. I know it is hard work but it is truly worth it saving and helping goldens in need.

How anyone could abuse a defenseless animal is hard to fathom. How anyone could abuse goldens in unreal. They are the sweetest, most loving and faithful friends on the planet. I have 2 girls and love them dearly. God bless your service and good luck.

Hard too watch.
There is no doubt that we, human beings, are the most horrible beings in the world. How can somebody even think of hurting an animal? I will never understand why this world is so unfair with these sweet angels.

goldens are VERY smart dogs if you know how to love... ive had a golden for 13 years he just passed away about a month ago... =(.. but yes they are very much like labs... but today we are getting a new german shepherd/lab mix after i get my cavity filled.. makes it that much better!!!

I have two from rescue and I just learned I'm going to lose one to cancer. They give so much. I've loved and lost before but every time it's a deep hurt. Still, I know I'll rescue another and fall in love again, if I live long enough. I love Goldens!

I have 14 Goldens including 5 rescues.They are all indoor dogs and all adored. They are the most wonderful breed in the world and I couldn't live without them. They ask so little and give so much - anyone who is cruel to a Golden - or any animal should have the same thing done to them so they can feel the same pain and suffering.Thank you for giving these wonderful dogs their lives back - the video got right inside me and made me cry. I am SO happy for the dogs you saved. You deserve a medal x

We lost our beloved Golden, Buckley, two months ago to diabetes at age 12. We decided he would have wished us to save another Golden, and we found Bo at our local animal shelter. Undernourished, ear and eye infections, fungal skin infection. In just one month, with good nutrition, meds, vitamins and loads of love, he is a beautiful guy. So loving and sweet. Buckley would be proud. Thank you for saving these wonderful dogs. They are the best!!!

I just don't understand how anyone can injure a golden. My 2 are both rescue runaway's. They both came to us trained. They are 8 and 12. Best dogs I ever ever had the pleasure of being owned by. Notice I say owned by. They own me. LOL!

it pains so to see these dogs/puppies abused. My dearest Golden passed away @ 17 years of age in Jan/08. They are just so beautiful and so friendly... I just don't understand how anyone could abuse them. I've got a new Golden puppy now.... and I love him very much.

awesome video! i have a goldie, he is 12 yrs old and been with me since he was 6 weeks old. some people dont understand how they become part of the family. i dont understand how someone can abuse or neglect such a beautiful and gentle dog such as the goldie. keep up the great work and rescue them all!

How could anyone hurt or abuse these wonderful, amazing animals! The death penalty is what they deserve for such cruel and inhumane actions. I wish I had enough money to save every unwanted golden in the world. Nothing would make me happier to spend the rest of my life living with goldens!!!! My Maddie is my reason for living. Wonderful video! Thanks to all the great people that rescue Goldens and to the kind frieds that adopt them.
We have been blessed by rescue dogs in our home for years. Everyone is grateful, we are and the dogs are.
Sad to say we just lost our sweet girl, Kayla. (have posted a Youtube about her).
Sadly missed.
We will now be back for our next rescued Golden.

My dog is named lizzy. She is the best dog I have ever had. She will be ten in january and is still going strong. Shes my best pal and i will miss her once she's gone.

How could anyone harm these gentle, beautiful creatures? I have had the pleasure of having three of these gorgeous dogs in my life, two passed recently and I now have 7 month old Daisy Mai. I applaud the people who dedicate their lives to find homes for these special Goldies, thank you! My next golden will be a rescue.

Pups are cute but older dogs need homes too. An older dog finding itself in a shelter is bewildered, depressed and upset. Take them into your home and they'll be grateful forever.
