i believe it was a good thing he lost american idol becuase, if he won, he would only have the amerian idol contract, but look at where he is now, did it his way and is successful.
i love how i watched him on AI just knowing that he had one of the best voices the show has ever seen...and then 3 years later, hes one of the most famous artists in modern day music. thats kinda cool!!!

Awesome. I hope James Durbin turns out to be as good as Daughtry did. Durbin has a great musical taste and definitely has the voice for rock or heavy metal.
The only thing I hate about Daughtry is the mass amount of vibrato in his voice. The tone is good, but the notes waver in and out of tune somewhat do to his use of vibrato.
You're kidding right ^^ ....? Chris having more talent or having made more than let's say ... Carrie Underwood ?... that must be a joke. I'm not American so I can't really prove my point, but still I'm pretty sure that, so far, Carrie is the only Idol to have been given at least 6 awards for her talent (in only 3 years).
Don't get me wrong, I like Daughtry very much (I bought his albums). I just disagree with your point of view ^^.

The only thing I hate about Daughtry is the mass amount of vibrato in his voice. The tone is good, but the notes waver in and out of tune somewhat do to his use of vibrato.

You're kidding right ^^ ....? Chris having more talent or having made more than let's say ... Carrie Underwood ?... that must be a joke. I'm not American so I can't really prove my point, but still I'm pretty sure that, so far, Carrie is the only Idol to have been given at least 6 awards for her talent (in only 3 years).
