i watch a lot of foreign films, especially chinese films, and it's actually a lot easier for me to pronounce some of the words and understand them now. great videos. btw, the instructor is very pretty.
Ni hao! Xing Xing. Ni hao JohnDKar. Thanks for this lesson. Instructress Xing Xing has a good voice and she pronounced the Chinese word clearly and audibly. I 'm trying to learn Chinese because I have some Chinese friends online. Incidentally, I never learned Chinese although my father was half Chinese half Filipino. Now, I want to learn his language to communicate with other Chinese and friends.
yeb Rob,I have left Chengdu,China for a break after surviving the sichuan quake..and I have been in Peru for more than a year...trying to get adjusted to my own country again...pretty hard though.. I am not the same anymore...I am still traveling and photovideoblogging but missing China a lot..and I have lost contact with xingxing I guess she has already had a master degree in early childhood development by this time..she quitted teaching Chinese owing to her postgrades studies
I know you really love china. For sure you will be back one day. My wife has a place in Chongching and we intend to retire there in perhaps 6 or 10 years time. We will be there in the meantime for vacation. If I see you in my travels I will greet you. Good Luck!
well wots de right word NI NE or NI NA?.. or is the same thing?.. bye the way is great the video lesons idea man.... and isn´t too complicated to learn chinese...grettings from mexico!...
jamas me imagine en mi vida que saludaria en chino, y eso que este es mi primer dia de estudiarlo. Gracias john sos un capo, soy de argentina y hoy justamente pensaba que tendria que estudiar chino, quien me iba a decir que no terminaria el dia y ya estaria estudiando chino. Oh my goodness!! Te encontre con lo de los videos en ingles que me mori de risa, bueno muchas gracias y segui adelante, tu material es buenisimo.
I started at lesson 10 and I had to go back from the begining and watch this again. After awhile teacher grows on you. Maybe I love her broken English or she seems very funny and friendly. I love to learn Chinese so I can marry a Chinese woman like her(smiles) Thanks for making this available, this is the best one online. I write it all down and study hard. My Chinese friend online said Im good. Xie xie teacher. Please make more of these with her.
'Jiao' means to be called. 'Wo jiao Bo Ai Xin'= I'm called Bo Ai Xin. 'Shi' means is or are. 'Wo shi Bo Ai Xin'= I am Bo Ai Xin. (When you ask someone their name you can say 'Ni jiao shenme mingzi?', which literally means 'You called what name?'

谢谢老师们,你们的课很有意思,尤其是因为包括了汉字。我就是想推荐你们写拼音时包括声调,因为如果只写shi或者"wo"不知道是哪个声调。其它的都很好:)
